this garden fabric is thick enough to protect your garden from invading weeds.

Bought this product back in May and though it was good, When I ordered additional I bought from another company due to cheaper price for same item, or at least that is what it seemed. Only to find I needed to replace the cheaper one as it did not work near as well. This weed barrier is worth the extra price, I found out the hard way.

Allows rain to go through, blocks weeds, easy to install, doesn't fade. Cut an X pattern in material, fold the flaps under (this helps prevent material from shredding) take bulb planter or shovel to make hole for plants. Material works for plants; for seeds I would not overlay/overlap two rows but leave a space adequate for planting. No smell to material.

We have installed this in our garden, and it is holding up very well so far. We did cover it with pine needles to protect from the sun, but it is UV stabilized. That is the main issue with landscape fabric that is uncovered. It disintegrates over time.

We bought this to cover an area around some bushes where I just couldn’t keep up with the weeds. This works fantastic! It’s been a few weeks and I have seen a single weed in the whole area. I think I’ll try this on my raised garden next spring.

I recently did an overhaul/upgrade to my garden and added some new above ground planters. When I first installed the old planters years ago, I didn't put down any barrier cloth to reduce/prevent weeds from growing, taking up my plant nutrients and stealing their water and I was forever pulling up weeds from my garden. I regretted not putting down any barrier and vowed to not repeat the mistake.So when I installed my new planters, this was the first thing to hit the ground. It's pretty thick material and I got the 4'x50' roll, plenty enough for my needs with some left over.While I won't know how well this barrier works until sometime this summer, it certainly seems capable of preventing weeds from growing up and taking over my planters. I used shears to cut it to length and it was pretty easy to lay out (it was a bit windy that day and I just weighted the corners down with a couple of rocks, but a two person installation would help) and I have every hope that this will perform as intended.

We have used literally hundreds of feet of this. I has been wonderful. We put it down last year before winter and it was great to not have any weeds to deal with in the spring. We have bought it for all of our planting projects and have been very pleased.

The only fabric I would use in my flower garden.
