Love and friendship
A heartwarming story about the difficulties of navigating a long-term relationship and keeping the spark alive. The two main characters are married, and have been together since school – the story flicks back between present day and the past, highlighting the significant moments in their relationship and where things began to go wrong. It’s hilarious on the things that irritate people about their partners, and there’s a lovely sub-plot about a cat. I also loved the depiction of female friendship, and the love and strength that comes from having a group of people who’ve got your back.

Friends are important...
Abbie and Matt have been together since they were teenagers. They’re now 37 and having a difficult time in their marriage. Unable to have a child, this has brought pressure on their relationship and they need to try to rekindle some of the romance that brought them together all those years ago.P.S. I Hate You (Abbie never does actually hate Matt), skips back and forth between the present, and when Abbie and Matt first met, following them throughout significant events in their life together. The author focuses a huge amount on how important friends are in a woman’s life and how good friends stick around, no matter what. If Abbie has a problem, or is upset, it’s The Girlfriend Club’s WhatsApp group she turns to, and there is always someone at the end of a message with support and advice.I enjoyed how Abbie tried to recreate some of the good memories that her and Matt had shared, some worked out, some didn’t but it both were keen to try! Sophie Ranald shows us the parts of relationships that people rarely talk about, the frustrating, annoying little things that when things are going well, we don’t care about, but when something isn’t right, then we create mountains out of molehills! If you want something easy and fun to read, to while away a few hours, then try this new one from Sophie.Thank you to the publisher for the opportunity to read and review an ARC of P.S. I Hate You by Sophie Ranald.

Everyone has difficulties in life - ESPECIALLY in marriage. This book reminded me that real love means choosing your spouse every day, despite the ups and downs!

easy read
Started off ok …really touched on some issues long term relationships encounter… but it seemed to plateau at the midway … nice ending but a little flat … more drama than comedy … good way to pass the time

Not too impressive
I have bought 2 of her books and unfortunately they both follow exactly the same story line they both have cats featured both have same issues with a father figure .both young women having jobs that end up being fired or nearly so ...I just think no imagination was used for storyline and weak writing .
