Great value- easy to use-blends nicely
Great value for the product. These markers blend very nicely and can make beautiful gradients. My primary use for these is as a base layer under colored pencils and they work very well for this purpose. The lightest grays are very light and the darkest are almost black. Included with this set are a few green grays and blue grays both of which are beautiful. This is my first set of alcohol markers and they were very easy to use for a first timer! 10/10 would purchase again. I have purchased another brand since starting and they blend nicely with the other brand (artist loft) Copic markers are way out of my price range so I can’t say how they blend with those markers but I would assume they’re fine.

Good markers but not Great ones...
These are really good alternatives for copic markers and they are a heck of a lot cheaper. I liked the hues of the gray shades (blue, green, warm and cool which is more neutral that cool) but the blue gray markers are more cool and cool markers more neutral. That’s not a big issue but they could’ve switched the labels to match the tone and color better. One issue I did have was, since these markers are Chinese made and mass manufactured, the quality control issue comes into play. What I mean is, on the 8 and 9 shades like the darker shades the 8 is darker than the 9 which caused me to have to switch the caps on the markers. I did that for color consistency however, I don’t think real artists tested these and they did beta testing for their product they just made them. That’s a big issue especially if you just start a project (like with copic markers where you can TRUST that they’ve been tested for the highest output and best quality so you can just grab and draw.) and think this is the darker color by the cap on the marker. I didn’t think it was a huge issue because only 4 of the 30 markers were affected with this issue but still; that’s a nuisance. Overall, I would give a B+ grade to the markers and they come in just below a copic because of quality issues.

Good for the price
If you’re looking for a cheap copic alternative these will put you in the ballpark. The lack of a brush tip means it’s a bit harder to blend colors and get fine details like you can with a copic but overall the quality is pretty good. It lays down a solid amount of ink and doesn’t streak like cheap alcohol markers tend to do. However it does bleed ever so slightly from where you draw. That’s probably not a problem if you do large drawings or don’t focus on detail too much, but can become an issue on smaller drawings. In comparison to copics the cool gray is about the same, but the warm grey has a redder undertone (vs the slightly brown undertone in warm grey copics). In the image i compared Copic warm and cool grey (cwg, ccg), artist loft warm and cool grey (alcg, alwg), and the 4 greys in this set (adwg, adcg, adbg, adgg)

Not exactly what I was ordering
Well, I did receive 30 gray colored markers in the shades listed. However, they are a totally different brand than was listed. The brand listed is Adaxi. The brand received is Touch bool - one of the many versions of the Touch brand markers that can be found here on several websites, including their own. As I already own several Touch bool markers, I am familiar with the brand, it just wasn't what was advertised. The markers have a chisel point on one end and a bullet tip on the other. They tend to work well and will bleed through many papers.
