Cheap build; perfect performance with some quirks
Usually reviews for cheaper products feature phrases such as "you get what you pay for".This, however, is quite the steal.I found no flaws in performance. All video and audio for each of the five inputs was clean and free of buzzing, humming, stuttering, flickering. On top of that, it comes with a plug-in IR sensor and remote that lets you switch inputs from across the room. Again, the build is cheap, but the functionality is there. I was able to use the remote from as far away as 10ft (as far away as I could get in this smaller room, so could not test anything farther). My needs are 100% met with this product and will thus receive five stars.Possible hiccups/complaints:1. Not sure about where this device gets its power from. There is a small USB-to-AC cord that comes with the device. Thinking it needed external power supply, I had it plugged into my computer the entire time for testing, but even having removed the "power cord" the device still ran all of my inputs (Wii through an upscaler, Wii U, Xbox 360, PS4, Nintendo Switch). Obviously device was either being powered by my TV or by the game systems. I have heard that lower power systems such as some DVD players might not supply sufficient power to keep switches like this running. So in the case that you are using such an input device, you will have to find a way to hook this baby up to some power.2. The power cord is insanely short ― 1'8" from tip to tip. I don't know many setups that would support a device that needs to be so close to the outlet.3. Power cord and plug-in IR sensor too close. As pictured, the IR sensor and power cord plug-in are so close that they must be pressed together to be plugged in at the same time. While I have had no issues with this in the short term, that is one thing I don't like.4. Auto-detect feature too strong. Even in the midst of putting through an active input to the TV, if a new input is detected, the switch will start putting through said new signal. Not a huge issue; just don't accidentally turn on a new device in the middle of a movie.

You get what you pay for
It works. I like that you don't have to use the remote in order to switch to the active HDMI port, which is a good thing because the remote itself doesn't work.Pros:- cheap- active hdmi port auto switching, no need to use the remote when a device turns on- 5 ports- supposed 4k supportCons:- remote doesn't work at all (yes I'm pointing it straight at the ir receiver)- power cord to the switch sticks out so it doesn't look like it's even plugged in

Working fine now, got what I paid for, suspicious the remote will be the first to go.
This is definitely a cheaply made device, but I knew that going in. I also purchased it for a pretty cheap price. The device displays all the inputs well. My one significant complaint is I wish the remote was a higher quality and also had a bit more substance to it. The remote works fine, but it is small and fragile so I'm sure it won't last anywhere near as long as I wish it would. Once the remote breaks or gets lost (it really is tiny), the device will be pretty frustrating to use as there is no manual way to switch the channel except for letting the device auto switch to the most recently turned on video source.

Device worked, remote didn't
I changed back to my old device after I realized the remote would never work for this thing. The thing itself works okay I guess, but definitely annoying to work with and kind of poorly made. Wouldn't recommend unless you just can't afford anything else.

Works, but be aware it does not support HDCP 2.2
No noticeable lag and it works with my HDMI matrix. While it supports 4k, it does NOT support HDCP 2.2, so no 4k with your fire TV or UHD blu-ray player. I use this with my PC and with an HDCP converter to work with my firetv.

Remote control does not work.
Remote didn't work after about 30 minutes. Tried to restart several times with similar results. Pushing the switch button works. Returning as it does not suit my needs.

Worked for a year and one month, then died
This was great for a year, then it died exactly one year, one month, and three days after I bought it. Was great while it worked though.

Not Worth it!
Product work for about a month and than begin glitching between changes, and that all together stop working. I would not buy this product again, very disappointed.
