Nothing happens?!?!
If you like reading lengthy descriptions about what people are eating then this is a good read, as this takes up around half the book. If you find the idea of a horror writer/Hollywood mogul/not very sinister ex husband trying to kidnap a dog in return for a pasta recipe 'hilarious' then you might think the book justifies that description in the five pages dedicated to that 'plot line.' Even the not particularly tangled love lives of the characters failed to engage me, as their stories gave very little reason to care about them. I'm sorry but to me this book had no plot and no purpose and I definitely feel I've just wasted a days holiday reading.

Brilliant
I just loved, loved, loved this book,Susanne is such great storytelling. You feel as if you are part of the story, each character had such big personality. I was sorry to finish it great read, would highly recommend that you reed it.

Fantastic - you won’t be disappointed!!
Fabulous summer read and all the fantastic places they visited on the holiday, I really enjoyed!! Brilliantly written as are all Suzanne’s books - I’ve read a lot of her books and they never disappoint! I’m saving a few of her books for Christmas break when I can sit in front of the stove and get stuck it!!

Slow start but grew on me
To begin with, this book annoyed me becsuse the main character seemed a bit needy. She grew up and grew on me and I'm glad I stuck with it. A nice holiday read.

Great little romp
Enjoyed this sequel - light summer reading - had presumed there would be a third in the series - apparently not
