LFGB and odor free
I love that this King Bake donut pan is LFGB certified. I bought this brand because it was refered to on a baking blog I often read. This pan is well made, it is a dark teal color even though the photo looks black. I noticed no odors when baking in this pan and the large donuts came out perfectly. I did notice they cooked much faster after i removed the cookie sheet out from under the silicone pan. I am able to use my cookie sheets as big spatulas because they have no lip on them and are just steel sheets, so likely most people will have to cook with a cookie sheet still under their silicone pan.The included frosting cone was a nice freebie. Im glad they included it so I could find out how much I stink at using those cones. Definitly saved me from a future cone purchase. I just used a spoon, the donut cavities are large enough that a cone is not utterly nessisary. If you found this review helpfull, please press that helpful button to say thanks.

Best donuts ever
This pan has the best stability of any of the silicone pans I've found. One pan is enough for our "donut fix" for awhile! We make gluten-free donuts, and I didn't have a sticking problem. I inverted the pan and the donuts just fell out, while they were hot. I did use non-stick spray though.Filling up donut pans can be tricky, so I bought a gizmo for making fancy donuts, and used that to squeeze in the batter, which was big enough to fill up the entire pan. Cleaning donut pans is just more work than a cake pan, but the silicone helps a lot because nothing sticks hard.I used regular cake mix, which was perhaps too tender to use for donuts, but they were quite tasty and survived well enough. This is absolutely the best way to make donuts! Not too greasy, and not too much work. But I think this pan will replace our own metal donut pans for sure.

Superb!!
I am NOT a baker! I have never liked to bake, it's too messy and I don't have much patience for tiny details! BUT I have adapted to a new lifestyle that omits refined sugar from my diet, so if I want a sweet treat, it MUST be made from scratch using specials ingredients. That being said, I ordered this donut pan (BPA FREE is a HUGE plus) because it came with a piping bag to use to get the filling into the cavity without making a huge mess. (I mentioned not liking to bake cuz it's messy right?) This worked PERFECTLY!!!! (after I googled how to assemble piping bag, I did state, I'm NOT a baker! lol) I placed a cookie sheet over the cooked donuts, flipped it over, and lifted it right off! No sticking or prying what so ever! (I did spray with cooking spray first, even though they say you don't have to) Clean up was a breeze!

This pan Rocks!
I received the Donut pan last week and I decided to make the donut recipe printed on the label since I had all the ingredients the same day. My two adult sons were at the house and they tested them. Everyone loved them! I went to a women's meeting that same night and took another dozen. More rave reviews...I have only had the pan for a week and I have made three recipes. I find it easy to use and have also made low carb donuts with coconut flour and they turned out perfectly. The label recipe asks you to use the enclosed pastry bag to dispense the batter into the pan. It works well but it was pretty messy. I made the low carb donuts by carefully spooning in the batter and it turned out perfectly. They popped out of the pan without any problem with both recipes. I did use Pam Spray on the pan before using. This is going to be a favorite for using!

Cheaper is not always better!!!
I first bought the cheaper set of pans that stated they pass the pitch test... they absolutely did not(not even close). Then I bought this pan hoping that the price difference would reflect the quality and it was absolutely worth it. I could pinch and twist with no discoloration. It was also much sturdier than the other flimsy set as well.It is much cheaper to make gluten free items at home... bagels, doughnuts, etc. The cost of making one or two batches at home covered the price of the pan itself. We buy silicone to avoid the toxic metal pans and I often worry about fillers in silicone, this one is worth a few extra dollars. It also comes with a reusable piping bag- bonus :)Hope this helps someone else who is undecided on which pan(s) to purchase, I wasted my money on the first set only to donate them since I won’t be using.

Mostly positive review for this one
Pan passed the pinch test and works well but discolors easily. Fortunately, the dark color of the silicone masks this somewhat. I really appreciate that the center spindles rise higher than the surrounding pan, which allows donuts to rise without closing up the center hole. It's not easy to see this in the photos on Amazon. I tried the recipe that came with the pan but it produced flat donut shaped disks that didn't taste like donuts, so expect to look for a better recipe. The pastry tip and bag that are included might be okay for frosting, but not donut batter. The tip is too small. Otherwise, this is a fairly nice and sturdy silicone donut pan that is thick enough to stand up on its own. The added thickness does increase baking time, however.

I owned a doughnut/bakery business. I consider myself an expert when it comes to doughnuts. I used the recipe included with the pan for my first attempt. I sprayed the pan with PAM, just to be sure my doughnuts would release. First batch, all but 4 stuck. So my next batch I used solid shortening and greased all the doughnut cups including the center as heavy as you would for a cake. Remove the doughnut pan from your cookie sheet, or whatever you were using, and that will help your donut cool quicker and help them release also. Good luck
