Eloam 360 Degree VR Digital Camera, WiFi HD Dual Lens Includes MicroSD Card. Share 360 Video and Photos Directly from Free Smartphone App

I was looking to purchase a VR/panoramic/360 degree camera for a trip and for my business. I had to do some research and this one seems like a good value. Please bear in mind this is not a professional VR camera bu the work it does for the price is really amazing!! The packaging did come already opened( which for a "new" product;I know it's not the case!! With that said I decided to give it a try. It did come with a 16gb microSD card already installed and was already configured for recording(another sign it was previously used). The tiny microscopic instructions manual needs a magnifying glass to be read. If you can manage the reading it directs you to download the app. For me I went to apple app store and found two of them; the "Eloamvr" and the "eloam". The eloamvr failed to sync with the camera using the wifi connection; the loam worked just fine. NOTE: you must set up the wifi link through the phone wifi settings first before attempting to connect with the camera via the app!The camera did come with a very handy grip stand. after charging the camera fully for roughly one hour, I decided to try it and install it on the rooftop of my truck grabbing the roof rack. I operated the camera video recording and still shots from the inside of the truck using my phone. I could also pan and sweep the view from the pohone touchscreen! The recordings are usually just over 6 minutes max. I installed a 128 GB micro SD which worked perfectly. Bear in mind that recording using the WIFI does run down the battery a lot quicker. But the shots are pretty awesome! You can download the videos or still shots through the wifi via the app directly to your phone or using the USB to the PC/MAC. However the videos shows a double barrel view instead of the VR. It seems the APP software is able to merge it into the full VR output using the right video player. They allegedly have aPC software as well to view the video but I could not find it. I am still looking for more information about it since I have had the camera for just 7 days.

This one is really not worth it. I should have known when the tripod was broken before the camera was even turned on. The app that controls the camera is not available in the App Store. It sent me to the China App Store where it also wasn't available. I don't know if the Android app is out there or not. I didn't take the time to check.Thanks to Amazon who quickly processed the return and suggested an alternative product. This one is going right back in the box with a return label and another camera is on order.

Incredible value for the money...for my purpose, this camera is perfect. I use it to record my band's rehearsal in our dumpy (well lit though lol) rehearsal room. So everybody can see what the others are playing with only ONE camera. The mic is overloaded by the shear noise most of the time, but we can still make up what's being played. This could've easily cost a lot more with more sophisticated video camera (better resolution, better mic). The stitching is really good too, although I find the processing takes a little bit more time. I used to use the iphone app with this, but then my phone becomes tied up with processing and uploading/downloading so a fellow Amazon user posted a link to use an app for windows so I can use my laptop instead. Oh, I tried to use an android tablet with its android app, but it kept crashing during conversion. It works fine as a viewer/controller. With the fully charged battery and the already included (no added cost!!) 16GB card, I can record a full 90 minutes of rehearsal footage. YMMV.

I wanted to get my toes into full virtual reality filming without going broke. I can certainly see that you can get better quality or more money. a lot more money. I just don't see how you could possibly beat this deal. It's easy to use and it works wonderfully well and uploads with minimal effort. Really happy with this one.

Great little 360 camera. Love It.

I needed an inexpensive 360º camera to capture images of performing venues for technical design. Setting this camera up in the middle of the space I’m planning takes very little effort and ensures I have a view of the entire room in case I overlook an angle with my regular camera. My iPhone connects right up with the camera, and the pictures transfer to the phone over WiFi. Very Simple and very helpful tool which will give me an advantage over my competitors and help me be more efficient in my business.

This camera is exactly what I was looking for. I bought another similar looking camera and returned it because I had to download some desktop software package to get the pictures ready to share on Facebook. I like this camera because I can take 360 photos and share them without waiting to get to my desktop. This one also comes with a MicroSD card for free. I got the other camera and I had to go out and get a card before it would work.

I've never used a 360 camera before, but I saw friends with one and thought it'd be great to take pictures of my team's matches. This camera was one of the less expensive 360 cameras I saw, but it is very easy to use and takes great pictures. iPhone app was free, and it connected to the camera with no issues. I posted pictures on Facebook right from my phone. Great deal!
