Order a size down, great post surgery vest!
Highly recommend for post mastectomy compression. My chest after surgery is 38" and I needed a SMALL. I needed a compression vest after a (breast cancer) double mastectomy without reconstruction, so basically top surgery. I developed some serious swelling in the armpit/lymph node area. It seemed wild to pay $120 for a marena vest, so I took a chance on this one. I'm wearing it 24 hours a day and it's very comfortable and provided instant relief to the post surgery swelling and discomfort I had with the compression garment my surgeon provided. I thought the hook and eyes would be a pain in the ass but they are very easy to open and close.Highly recommended for comfort, ease of use and PRICE!!

Not the best, but serviceable
This was recommended by my surgeon for surgical recovery, among several others. I bought it and another more expensive brand that's strictly medical. This worked okay as a post-surgery binder, although the fabric is stretchier and offers less compression than the strictly medical one. All the little hooks got tiresome, but I did appreciate the slight bit of adjustability they offered.

Eh…
Not great. Hard to get all the clasps aligned when putting on, they keep pulling out. Not very tight at all, got the smallest size and have it on the smallest setting and it’s still extremely lose, I’m considered overweight according to BMI, so definitely not just a small body issue. Bought it for post surgery compression and wouldn’t recommend it at all. Even for normal binding I can’t imagine this would make any difference at all or create any type of compression. Also stinks weird like burnt plastic

Good Vest
If you need a compression vest after surgery this is the one you’ll want to get it worked great, easy on and off and comfortable. Showed it to my surgeon and he said they might look into using them for all their patients.

Runs large
Size small states 31.5-34.6" chest, I am a 34" chest and the tightest setting on this wasn't quite enough for my needs. I'm 5'2 and very 'pear shaped', so the bottom couple of inches hit the wider part of my hourglass shape and rolled up, totally normal for my body and anything in a cropped length.Purchased as a trans person post top surgery to wear 24/7 for several weeks to control swelling.Straight out of the dryer it fit best, but wearing it for a 2nd or 3rd day it would be almost too loose to function for my needs. It seems likely that it would function well for gynecomastia as you're seeking a different/ less intense level of compression.

Small size not small enough
The smallest size was too big to actual add any compression for me post-op. It fit more like a loose vest, and would unhook itself. Also one of the hooks pulled out from the fabric the first time I put it on, even though the fabric wasn't being stretched.I imagine it works better for people with larger chests.

Pretty comfortable
I've had several different binders and this one's honestly been the best. It's easy to get on and off, it doesn't pinch under my arms, and even held enough compression after top surgery. I normally wear M/L and I've been wearing the S. So if you're pretty thin to begin with this may be too big. It might be wearing out a bit, but the bottom hem has started to roll which is kind of annoying. Overall, I think this is about as comfortable as a binder can be while still serving its purpose.
