Already opened and used??
Bought this supposedly brand new pastel set to find the one color I really wanted (white) appears to be chipped, used, and broken. All the other ones are smeared as if they have been used. The box clearly had been opened. Very unhappy and returned for a refund.

Beautiful colors and texture
I purchased the Emerald Sea pallet to add to my pastel collection. It is a much smaller box of pastels than I was expecting but the colors are gorgeous and just what I wanted.

My favorite!
I am a pastel artist and I use a lot of different brands of pastels but I have to say, Sennelier are my favorite. They are super soft and buttery, perfect for the last layers of a painting.

Not exactly what I thought I was buying...
I had bought a box of Sennelier oil Pastel and LOVED them for how easily they lay on the paper and blend together. Looking through the literature that came with that box set I saw that the company listed OIL PASTELS and OIL STICKS. The difference between the two is that the STICKS are thicker and chunkier.....which is what I want. I searched on Amazon especially for Sennelier oil sticks and this is one of the products that came up so I ordered it. These are a little thicker...not much...and a lot shorter. They are still nice and I will keep them, but I really wanted the STICKS as listed in the Sennelier literature.

He iniciado pintar con pasteles y he comprado alguna variedad en marcas. Diversos maestros mencionan Sennelier, sin embargo son casi tan duros como los Rembrandt y aún más que los Artecho, que salieron muy buenos. Son mucho mejores Jack Richeson y Schmincke o aún Mount Visión. Pero quizá estos,por el precio medio, puedan ser útiles comprando algún color que sea especialEstos, creo que no los volvería a comprar; sólo los colores muy claros son menos duros
