High Tech PetHumane Contain RX-10KIT Multi-function Collar with Charger and AC Adapter for X-10 Dog Fence System

This company makes some good products, but all of their collars break within months.

I have the high tech dog door panel for my little Chihuahua an I couldn't be happier. This collar appeared to complete the set for me since it can be charged rather then replace batteries so often. But after receiving it in Mail I was surprised how big it actually is compared to the small one hat came with door. In addition, the actual part of the collar which contains all components can not be removed from the real thick an chunky collar its on. The original collar your able to slide that part off and use in any collar of your choice but not this so that's a big issue for me with such a small dog. The second issue is this thing is very well made an dies many things but I don't have a clue how to use it due to lack of any kind of instructions. I've searched sn searched online to point of giving up cause I can not figure out how do I make it sync with the existing door. I'd love to give this 5 stars like the door but I Havnt been able to use it. I also ordered a charger for it an I figured that out. Charges very quickly but please anyone help me !!!

I purchased the X-10 rechargeable collar to use with my TX-2 base station. I have used the High Tech pet containment system for the last 3 years. The system has performed flawlessly. I like the fact that the system is infinitely adjustable for the range and power of the system. It is also applicable to systems in excess of 2000 feet.I have found the customer service to be excellent, they are courteous, helpful, and prompt in their replies. I have used several pet containment systems and I have found this system to be the most reliable an easy to use.

These rechargeable collars work like a champ. they are 110 times better than the battery operated collar and I think they should be the one included with the door versus the battery operated collar. They are kind of large for the smaller dogs but they work so much better. I was to the point of having to buy a new battery operated collar for my two dogs every month and that was getting super expensive. I have had these collars for over a month now and only had to charge it once. Very happy Customer!!!

Does not appear to pick up the fence, replaced the fence head unit last year so I hope it is still working.Contacting High Tech is next to impossible. Am considering changing units completely. Bought the recharging collar because the battery was always coming disconnected in the regular collar, the slightest looseness kills the collar. May have spent $100 for nothing.

Unfortunately our pit bull got used to the beep way to quick and it doesn't stop her at all from roaming where ever she pleases.I think on 80lb dogs that are untrained this will not work.

Quick shipping but I was disappointed in the packaging. I purchased 2 of these and neither box had instructions (ie. charging time, etc). These are a good size for a larger dog but too big and bulky for my little dogs. The collar is very sturdy but not very flexible. I don't like that I don't have the option to remove the prongs if I don't use them for the fence system. When you take the prongs off, you're left with screws sticking out. I wish I could put the controller on my dog's collar. I may still try that. On the positive side, the collar works really well with the automatic doggy door. I recommend it if you have dogs that are at least 50 pounds.

I purchased the full fence from another website.. seen that amazon had them.. fantastic collar. definitely been a HUGE training helper with all my dogs..had a running away problem and pup didn't want to come to her name.. bought this product and now she's an angel. comes promptly when called and majority of the time stays within the barrier.great product..
