"Show Me The Honey!"... Expensive? Yes, But Delicious & A Very High Quality Manuka
The media could not be loaded. If you are looking at this SuperLife manuka honey then I'm going to assume you are either curious or happy about the price. £38.99 (at the time of writing), could be seen as an insane amount of money for some honey, but Manuka honey is expensive. This Manuka honey ticks of the list the key things to justify the cost. It is monofloral, it has a high MGO of 514+, it is certified, it is sealed, it is from New Zealand. As for tasting, I've been lucky enough to try Manuka honey from the sub £10 multifloral level all the way up to the £30'ish monofloral level and this one I'm pleased to say is delicious, but I wouldn't say it was noticeably better than the £30 version. The colour is lovely and golden and it is feels a good balance between runny and set (see my video). The honey looks a bit grainy but is smooth in the mouth with a delicious balanced sweetness to it that feels naturally premium. If you are in the position of being able to spend this kind of money on honey, then go for it, you won't be disappointed.

Nice taste but not the cheapest
The media could not be loaded. I’ve tried many Manuka honeys over the years and this is a nice tasting honey. Ignore the review about it being out of date.. as you can see from the photo the 4 items printed are clearly just out of line and they are looking at the manufacturing date. Plenty of time to eat this if you look at the best before. It has a thick consistency which is like most manuka honeys. I’ve used it for acid reflux and it really does seem to help. It’s dual grading, MGO & UMF, provides you with the assurance over the purity of the manuka honey. That UMF number can range from UMF 5+ to UMF 20+. So at 15+ it’s at the higher end. The higher the UMF rating the more antibacterial activity Manuka honey has and the more potent it is.Manuka honey is expensive generally but this maybe a little on the pricey side so it loses a star for that.

Way passed its best before
The media could not be loaded. Taste was okay I think but I can tell it wasn't fresh its november 2021 best before so yeah that's give or take a few days nearly 8 months passed the best before date, not happy about that and its only 15+ Manuka honey and who's to say its true manuka honey, where the document proof? Anyone can fake a tag on the outside carton or product tub. It's just a sticker.Anyways small tub I wouldn't pay £38 quid for an out of date product.

Wonderful but Expensive
Ever wondered what mānuka is, honey in particular? Turns out it is 'a dark honey produced by bees which pollinate the flowers of the manuka bush. Mānuka honey contains active compounds, giving it natural antimicrobial properties – and it is this that sets it apart from regular honey.' (Google). Well, as far as I am aware, all unprocessed/untreated bee products are antimicrobial so the claim to this honey being the only one so sounds exaggerated, in the least.Google also informs us that 'MGO ratings are used to measure Mānuka honey's special properties; the higher the number, the more special properties the honey has'. The same source also states that 'UMF is an indicator of quality and purity of mānuka honey. MGO stands for methylglyoxal, the naturally occurring compound that makes mānuka honey so unique. An MGO rating is a standardised measure of methyglyoxal content and is an indicator of quality.'This is it, in a nutshell. This honey is not bitter. It is thick, not runny. It tastes sweet without feeling too overwhelmingly so. The texture is quite light, there are no 'crumbs' in it (that are usually the result of the bees being fed sugar). It is fresh and gorgeous. It is, also, very expensive. It must be worth it, but I am not going to use it up in a week to test, I will be saving this beauty for the days when the cold is knocking on your nose and your throat is treacherously itchy. This honey will do the job, I can tell by the way it tastes. If you can afford it, highly recommended.

Can't vouch for the benefits, but it is nice
In this review I am not going to try to analyse whether there us any scientify evidence that Manuka honey really has any benefit, or try to justify the price of this small jar of honey. Suffice to say that it is not something I would normally consider buying, especially at this price. But, if you are into Manuka honey, and aren't put off by the price, I can’t see you not enjoying this honey. It has quite a strong, slightly nutty, flavour, which works well with everything I have tried it with - cereal, toast, lemon tea. The plastic jar keeps it safe during transit. The dates on the label are slightly misaligned (see photo), but I am assuming they indicate my honey was made about six months before delivery, and has over four years before the best before date.

It's nice
Never tried manuka honey before so wasn't sure what tonexpect from it. I know that it gives some healthy benefits to our body but that's it i know about it.After trying it I need to say that it's sweet, as expected from honey. But manuka honey has slightly different taste. Its hard to describe but like the sweetenes here is slightly on bitter side aftertaste. Honey has creamy consistency, not as runny like typical honey and not crystallised neither. I can say that it's quite nice, different but nice. This honey has been produced 23/11/2021 and its best before date is 22/11/2026, that's 5 whole years.Around £40 per 250g is a bit expensive..and 70.6g of sugar per 100g of honey is pretty much though...
