Monica Potter Home - Sea Buckthorn Balm™ (2 oz.)

My son developed what I thought was cradle cap at about the age of two. Old for that I know but I couldn’t figure out what else it could be. He’s five now and these two patches have never gone away. The skin gets thick and crusty and the hair gets caught in it and it’s just yuck. Everywhere I turned, everyone -yes even my dr., told me it was cradle cap and if I just used some mineral oil etc-blah blah. I tried everything. The only success I had was with coconut oil that I would rub on and leave then it would soften enough I could scrape the skin layers up skin off his scalp and out of the hair-yeah you can imagine how cooperative he’s been for that-and then it would go away for a few months before it built up again. I decided maybe it was psoriasis and happened across this product on a tv show. I tried it while we were on vacation one time-rubbed it in and left it overnight-but because we were at the beach etc I didn’t really check it close-but when I did two days later-I am not kidding you-the skin clumps on the scalp had lifted-the scalp was clear and the skin still stuck to the hair (sorry gross I know) were dried and flaky and pulled out easily. I could not believe it. It really was one time and his head was improved behind recognition. I’ve used it twice more in the past two weeks since and his scalp is completely clear. I don’t know what this stuff is-I’ve never heard of it before-but whatever my son had, it’s cured it. At least for now/I guess we will see what the long term result is. For now it’s been a miracle worker.

I originally bought this as a kind of repair cream but now also use it as a night face cream. It actually smooths away eye bags and minimizes wrinkles. When I couldn't buy it I bought a serum but it's just not as good. This is some kind of miracle balm, a solid at colder temps, turns to semi liquid in warmer temps but the solid turns to a liquid from the warmth of your skin. Yes it is yellow and might stain, even a little greasy but helps heal bruises, minimizes scars. I've found nothing close as a moisturizer. Absolutely love this product.

At first I thought it was great. It has a good fragrance and it was smooth made my skin soft but then my white close I noticed having a yellow stain then I realized it didn’t soak into my skin and stained my cloths. I am not sure what is used to get the color yellow but beware it will leave a stain.

This is my second purchase of Monica Potter's Sea Buckthorn Balm. I've also purchased it for my mom and my sister so they can try it and not just listen to me talk about how much I love it. I have sensitive skin and I have no problems using this, especially on my face. It's great in the winter as an extra layer of moisturizer under makeup and I use it before bed as well. It smells great too!

Probably good if you wear a lot of makeup.

I really enjoy this product. I’m trying to use moisturizers on my hands more now that we are washing our hands more often; my hands are dry and/or itchy, this products helps my skin feel revived, refreshed and itching gone. It goes on very smooth and a little goes a long way.

I have been on RA meds for over a decade and they leave me with random spotty dry patches of skin. This works well to clear them up. I am also a hard stick for blood work and IVs and use this on the sites after to help promote healing. I can't wait for the all clear to try it on my IH brain surgery sites to help promote healing of the head and abdomen scars.

I love the result from this on my psoriasis! It has been severe on my lower legs for several years and nothing really helped - until I found Monica Potter Sea Buckthorne Salve! I have normal skin again!!! It’s awesome!
