12V DC Air Conditioner - Electric Air Conditioning Unit for Trucks, RVs, Buses, Agricultural Vehicles, Campers

Works great wish I would have ordered this a long time ago. I've spent over$6000 over the last few years trying to get the factory air working. I have taken the truck to three different places.One was the Kenworth dealer I bought the truck from. None of them could get it to work right. I finally bought this air conditioner and installed it myself. A lot cheaper than any of the places I took it to to get the factory air fixed. It took me about a half of a day to install it. I did buy a vacuum pump and a set of gauges from Harbor Freight to help charge the system. I would recommend this to anyone needing a good air conditioner.

The ac is easy to install . It cools ok. But: it needs a lot of power .

Works as expected & is very! Very ! Efficient! & strong cooling. I have 600ah lifepo4 battery that can run it all night till next day, (but battery doesn't drain due to 990w of solar on the roof the during day when charging) So basically can run 24/7 lolOriginal cables are not thick enough & do get a little warm but no big deal. As you see in pictures . The motherboard on compressor got rusty from very high moisture, my unit stopped working at 3-4onths of use.Motherboard is inside compressor & small. Also as seen on pictures the capacitors got swollen. Once I open it to see what's wrong with it, a lot of water came out from the small compartment where the motherboard sits on compressor side. Not a good design, not completely waterproof or sealed, screws got rusty. Also main negative & positive battery connection cables are not waterproof neither, (I'll upload a pic to show wich side)Long story short, it's an amazing unit!! Made me happy while it lasted! Only flaws are the compressor or (motherboard) overheats too quick on high temperatures & motherboard doesn't last long enough.The seller offered a new motherboard, since my warranty (3 months) is expired) so I'll try to seal it the proper way once it arrives.If the motherboard & overheating issue was fixed. I would buy unit over & over again. Maybe a unit with a motherboard outside compressor housing with a big heatsink?

I bought this item because I though to install it on my truck, but I sold my truck. I tried to return and it’s impossible because “it has some hazardous gases”. But it came not charged and I didn’t even unpack it, so Amazon doesn’t accept return. I tried to sell it to my friends but they all are afraid it might not be quality product.

Best product ever, cooling system runs faster than the others, high quality and stable, solid package with thunder shipment, I 100% recommend people to buy this.

i know there is a video, i watched it. that is the only way to install the unit. i have screws that i don't know where they go. the video does not explain anything. you will need a special tool to install the nut inserts.
