No more marks on my wall
Actually I use this for a gate to keep the dogs from going upstairs and I had a constant problem with it sliding on the wall. The rubber on the end of the gate was marking the wall making a mess. I happen to find these on Amazon and for the price decided to try them. Well, I am pleasantly surprised the gate is held in place friendly these are not marking the walls so I'm very happy. You can see by the photo the marks that we're made on I wall previously. Now I don't have to worry about that with this wall guard set!!

Save your walls!
Our wall savers work great! We use it at the bottom of our staircase ( we have a gate installed at top of stairs) we primarily use the other gate to keep the dog out of the toyroom and downstairs . We just had new construction so putting holes in the wall was not an option! These work great suctioning to the wall and banister. I def recommend using these. We have not had a problem with suction and the gate fits perfectly !

The Baby Bliss Wall Guard set was easy to install and fit on the door framing boards perfectly. They make the gate very sturdy and, I believe, the large size helps to ensure a tight fit since the pressure is spread across a larger area. I highly recommend this product.

Awesome...wish I'd had these long ago!
These are great...so far holding secure. Unfortunately my walls have already been damaged, but these will limit further damage and hopefully keep our gates in place better than without them.

Could be more universal.
They hold well. But are too wide to use gates with swinging doors. My gate has a bar at the baae of it that has to be level with the floor. Because of this i could only use two of the guards or everyone going through the gate would have to step over that bar.

The 'small' wall cups are huge. Too big for our baseboard. Not really a discreet way to protect your walls and depending on the size of your baseboards - may not be flush. Too much hassle to return for $7 bucks.
