Q: Do these float? Aka to put in a pool (to scare off ducks!)

Not sure the silver balls will deter birds, ducks, etc. If large body of water, I do not think it will discourage them!!

Q: How much does one weigh?

I have ordered several of these. Each ball can weigh 74 to 80 grams (2.6 to 2.8 ounces).

Q: Is it able to be welded?

Only if you are a very good welder. These spheres are very thin like 26 or 28 gauge I tack weld them with a very low setting

Q: Are they shipped from china

Never paid attention! I think they were made in America!!
