Great bag, well built, worth the price.
The first thing I do when looking for a bag is to define its purpose. Purpose as in what I want to carry; from that is size and layout where organization is concerned. Always in the mix is style and quality. In wanting something small, slim and stylish in leather, I chose the Banuce 14-inch Full Grain Leather Briefcase. The primary requirement that it holds both my 14-inch Lenovo laptop and my medium (13.1 x 8.5) Wacom tablet with their protective sleeves. The other usual being the charger, external hard drive, reading glasses, a mouse, and a few cables and thumb drive. If needed, my palm-sized USB DAC. When I do take the DAC, I also bring my Bose headphones in their carry case and attach it to the bag’s shoulder strap. These are the bare essentials I might carry on any given day, and one this bag needs to handle. With that, I love that this briefcase has two separate compartments (front and back), each capable of holding a 14-inch notebook. So the back section, opened by a single zipper, has a thickly padded pouch that can be secured by Velcro strap. Here my laptop is stowed. Outside the pouch, is a pocket divided equally in half by stitching and spanning the inside length of the bag. Here I stow charger, cables, mouse, and DAC. These pockets are big and roomy. Opposite the pouch, outside bag wall is a large zippered pouch able to hold a 10-inch tablet while closed. I use this for cables and a Wacom pen.The front section, opened by two zippers, swings out about 45 degrees. It also has a pouch, and though it’s about an inch and a half shorter than the back one, will still hold a fair amount of a 14-inch laptop. Here I stow my Wacom tablet. Opposite the pouch, inner wall, are two elastic pockets of differing size; one will hold a wallet or external drive, the other a pair of glasses. As shown in the item images there are pen holders and a key loop. The cloth material appears to be heavy nylon. On the outside of the bag on either side are zippered pouches (the rear hiding back strap for a luggage cart) capable of holding at least a 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab A tablet and are a bit roomier than the zippered pouch in the back compartment. The bag’s stated color is light brown, but I'd say it's more mahogany than brown. Happy about that. And the brass colored zinc alloy metal pieces for the strap, zippers and bottom studs blends perfectly with the color giving it a nice clean look.Though the bag is said to stand on its own, that depends on weight distribution. If one side has more weight, it will fall over. That’s my experience where my heavier items are in the back compartment. No issue for me though just a note to others.I do wish the carry handles fell to the sides instead of staying up and needing to be snapped together to keep from flopping around. Kind of makes it awkward to unsnap handles to go inside the bag.And I was on the fence about the way the strap attaches to the bag, but I will say it’s well secured and won’t easily come undone. I also worried the shoulder strap would be too thin (it’s about an inch and quarter in width with the leather pad just shy of 2 inches) but it does feel comfortable.I’ve never heard of Banuce before so this is my first bag from them. First impressions are everything, and this bag doesn’t disappoint.Well designed, excellent quality, and worth the price. 5 Stars.

Good leather briefcase
The leather is nice, it looks really nice. The only concern is that the leather scratches, I am treating it with leather conditioner, seems to help.

Have used this for almost exactly five years now (bought Sept 22, 2017) - Can't praise it enough
After having dozens of briefcases (some 3x as expensive as this) fall apart on me in one or two trips, I bought this with not much hope but because it was the only one that would arrive before a trip I had in Sept 2017.Now, with daily use to the office PLUS over 100 trips and more than 250,000 miles in the air, not to mention probably as many in cars, and trains across US, Europe and Asia, I can say this bag is still going strong.Expect the leather to change color (and get a few scratches - if you,, like me are in the habit of throwing this, over hand in one motion, into the overhead locker). Expect the bag to develop some "character" but besides that, it will keep functioning for as long as you care to use it (or at least 5 years, for me).I travel a LOT for work and I am on a plane roughly once every week - this bag has seen it all- delayed flights & use as a pillow on airport benches, ran through multiple airports and hit who knows how many pillars (and some people !!) along the way, hauled by the strap, hauled by the handles, tossed here and there, tossed INSIDE suitcases, tossed OUTSIDE suitcases, tossed into airplane holds, tossed into bus luggage holds - as you can guess by now, I am not a gentle traveler. Yet today, it remains as sturdy as ever and it is getting ready to go with me tomorrow.I never planned to write a review but recently having bought a few other leather travel goods, I was wondering if I should replace this bag but honestly, I can't find anything wrong with it. Here is hoping it runs with me for another 5 years :D.....So if you are thinking of buying this - stop reading and just buy !!

Price is right for the quality
I was very excited about this briefcase when it arrived because of it’s nice and well-made look. However, after four months of use the leather has worn out extremely quickly, and with minimal use the bag has developed some tears at the junction between one of the zippers that was barely used at all.

I would highly recommend this bag
Very sharp looking bag, seems to be well constructed and plenty of pockets to keep things separated and neat. I would highly recommend this bag.

One Star
Bought it as a gift for a family member. Apparently, after only a few weeks of use, the leather is peeling. Low quality product.
