Picky “Chicken” (cockatoo) LOVES this food
Our sulfur crested cockatoo, Stanley “chicken” (self appointed) absolutely loves this food. We had no idea how this was going to roll out for us but he’s done really well. It came soft, moist and fresh smelling. The price point is crazy, but seeing that he’s not making a mess and enjoying every bite I’m not only in shock but he seems happier like peppy energy.

This seems like a winner!
This is my first conure and I was SO concerned that getting her off seed and on a healthy diet was going to be challenging.Nyamali LOVES these. When you open the bag, all you can smell is a lovely blend of fruityness. I'll be trying a few others to see what she likes best, but these will be my go-to unless something else makes her eyes roll even harder.

Nope From My Macaw
So disappointed, my picky macaw did not like this. She will only eat two brands of food, and even those I have to swap out with each other. And of course, both are expensive, with prices continually going up. And sometimes they're out of stock at the store or online. So I was really hoping this would be a winner for us. The price was decent. But alas....Gabby says nope. I tried handing a piece to her, she did the fake out on me. She grabbed it like she liked it, then threw it across her cage. So I poured some in her bowl, and it just sat there. At least she didn't do as usual and toss it out of her bowl. While I can't attest for the taste or flavor of it, it was soft when I opened the bag. Not overly mush, but it wasn't the typical hard/crunchy bit. For the price, I'd give it a try especially looking at the random likes/dislikes on the comments lol. It's something different, and if your bird likes it, lucky you for having another option for food!

Horrid odor. Birds hate it
The smell is very off-putting. I don't even wanna feed it to the birds. But they don't like it anyway. Why they changed the original? I don't know, it was great. All my birds loved it. I had a real problem when they stopped making it without telling them any stockpile. Some in my freezer. I hate when manufacturers do this. It puts a bad taste in my mouth With this manufacturer it's all money. I call them and they said that they won't make any as much profit. Well, it's a kid more about the birds than profit. They wouldn't have done this stupid move. Who wants a soft pellet? That's only for a special bird who has special needs. Not a normal bird. We need to exercise their big bad move. Really bad move, don't buy it.

I'm on the fence about this
Pros- my parrots do eat it & no seed hulls.Cons- unpleasant aroma. Colors the birds droppings dark like the pellets, this hides any signs of illness that would appear by this method.Another disturbing note: Granted that the cause probably was exponentially exaggerated by my recent health issues that prevented me from being active enough to keep cages clean, but I have never had a cluster fly infestation. Were they simply drawn by the sweetness (molasses, etc) or were they incubating in the soft pellets? 20 years at this residence with my parrots and 1st time using the Nutrisoft pellets I get fly infestation? I think I can count on my right hand how many flies in 20 years I've had indoors. But now 50-70? Unsettling and still a couple stragglers are flying about. Coincidence? My second bag remains unopened trying to decide if the colorized droppings really should concern me (as my iron supplement colors my waste), because my guys can't tell me that they are feeling poorly and nature intuits them not to show weaknesses. Admittedly, I kinda want to use 2nd bag just to determine the cluster fly cause.

Soft pellets
My African Grey likes it better than the harder pellets
