Make sure you remove the plastic protective coating before use.I use these in front of chafing dishes, and they are perfect for my needs. Unfortunately, my penmanship is in great, but we have someone in my office who has beautiful penmanship, so it looks very nice. It’s nice that there are so many of them so we don’t have to constantly wipe off and change the signs. We can keep the ones as is that we used most often.These signs are made in China and being sold by Chinese company on Amazon. At the current price of eighteen bucks I’m sure they are well over twice the price they should be for Chinese plastic, but overall I really like them.

Ok, 1st off, I was a little disappointed. I thought these looked old. Dumb me didn't realize there is a nice protective plastic film over them. I will say, it is a bit of work to get them off, even with fingernails. I ended up using a razor blade. Once I got that off, these are great! Nice sturdy plastic. Easy to write on, easy to clean! They stand up very well! I love to label foods when we have a big get together so everyone knows what each dish is. These are perfect.

The title "chalkboard" is misleading. It is nowhere near chalkboard and 100% acrylic. The chalkboard pens do not stay on. A light finger swipe over the lettering (even after sitting overnight) and the writing comes off immediately. While they are nice and steady, I'll need to figure out what pens will work.

These are well made, sturdy and should have 5 stars if it wasn’t for the protective film on both sides of every one. Removing it is tedious, slow and aggravating so much so I have only done the front sides. I have purchased these from another vendor without the film and they were great right out of the box. If you are using for an event deal with the film the day before.

Great product that worked perfectly for table centerpieces at a school function. Chalk writes nicely especially with a chalk pen. Will be using these again for another upcoming event.

It's kind of useless unless you buy a pen. It does not come with one so I can't even say if it's OK or not until I buy a pen and see it. It's like ordering a furniture and it would not include hardware.
