A Manual of Laboratory and Diagnostic Tests

I love this book. It provides all the information you need in a very readable format. I've been a medical writer for over 20 years, and this is the book I always turn to when I need to know more about a particular laboratory test. Every time it is updated, I buy the new version.

This book arrived in pristine condition, just as described by vendor. I am curre tly taking a class at a university and this manual answers most questions with descriptive information. great quality informational manual.

I was introduced to this book, a few editions back, during my Nurse Practitioner course work. It is the single, best, laboratory resource book I have ever used. It guides me daily in my clinical practice. I give it highest marks and recommend it to anyone in clinical practice.

A great resource to have for a nursing or med students. It could be a bit more indepth on some of the descriptions, explanations, and lists of information that it details; but I'm in nursing school and I find this provides just enough information for me to understand the subject. It has been incredibly helpful.

A gift for a busy nurse who likes to keep up with pharmacology. She loved it.

My only issue with this book is that the index doesn't always match up with the page numbers, but it gets you close to where you need to be so you just have to flip forward or backwards a couple of pages. Its a good idea to just tab the pages yourself. Other than that its a good book with accurate and useful information.

I purchased this book for a nursing class. It is a wonderful reference book. I even recommended it to my nurse manager to purchase it for our unit.

Would have liked a more simplified book. Words cram together, not appealing visually. Makes it hard for me to learn.

This book is excellent for anyone who is studying biomedical science or a similar subject. The book lists most of the tests that will be done in a hospital laboratory. It gives information about reference ranges of the tests and also what conditons are associated with various tests.
