Was really hoping this would work and reduce the extremely expensive amounts of insulin I have to take. After two months I haven't seen any noticeable change in my glucose, my insulin usage is exactly the same. Maybe different bodies react differently.Some negative reviews mention the bad taste. It isn't great, to me I think of dried lawn grass. But I've taken FAR worse tasting medicines, if this worked the taste would be a very minor inconvenience in my opinion.Also I didn't notice any negative side affects like others have mentioned, again different bodies react differently. But since I've not had any positive affects either, pointless for me to keep taking. I started slowly with only one pill per day and worked up to the recommended five pills per day as I was thinking it would change my insulin doses and didn't want to drop drastically. Will wean myself off over the next few weeks as well just for glucose safety.

Use this instead of Metformin.

Started taking as prescribed but found it way too powerful. Cut the dosage in half and it was just a bit to weak. Bumped it up by 1 capsule and if I'm not really stupid about what I eat and drink, it keeps it my readings right were the doc wants me.

I have been taking five capsules twice a day for a little over 10 days. So far it seems to be working. My blood sugar has been staying below 120 most of the time. If it does go up it does not take as long as before to come back down.Update: This is really working for me. My A1c has gone from 7 down to 6.5 in three months. I feel when I have my blood checked again in another three months it should be down more.
