"I add beautiful review of well-known Czech philosopher, phenomenologist, professor PhDr. Anna Hogenová.The book we have in front of us is Maitreya Buddha Sutra by Lumír Láska, which shows us how to break free from suffering in our lifetime. Given the myriad hardships of this day and age, a book like this is a blessing. We suffer, we are under threat and we don’t understand why because we simply can’t. A situation like this is not unfair: ontological discomfort is part of our lives more than we are able to realise and come to terms with. The author presents us with a simple equation: B + MD + C = 0. (B – beginning, MD – momentary duration, C – cessation, 0 – zero.) The meaning of this is so simple that we are not immediately able to recognise the profundity and truth of this relationship. We have to approach this with the humility and openness that is essential for this kind of deeper thinking. Lumír Láska gently and tenderly “forces” us down a path of reconciliation, of deep peace, which is something we need today more than ever. Emptiness, the full emptiness that is the Brahma, which represents the impersonal supreme divine “being”, is the goal to be attained. It is the path to self-discovery, not in the form of our self, or the Heideggerian “Selbst”: it is the path to liberation right here on earth, in space and time among other people. The book is about the path to liberation, to nirvana. But this journey involves a deep understanding and self-liberation through themes such as “The Matrix of the Universal Law of Impermanence, The Characteristic of the Non-self, The Four Noble Truths, Compassion – The Gateway to Enlightenment, The Mantra of Pure Directness” etc. Buddhism is a very good path for life. And the book is excellent. My wish is that all readers will be infused with this special light that leaves changes in the soul, changes that will help us to live in ontological discomfort. Thank you to all who helped this book manifest itself in our existences,Prague, 25 February 2021 Prof. PhDr. Anna Hogenová, CSc.

The most essential book for your realization of enlightenment
I longed to be free, and on my journey out of suffering I met Lumír Láska, who reached into my hardened heart. He convinced me by his ordinariness, his kindness and his sincere concern for the suffering of every being. I knew deep down that he spoke of freedom and love that would save me. Although at first I understood little of his explications, which were incomprehensible to me at the time, I became passionate about this truth, and gradual realisation gradually washed away my ignorance. I am grateful for such a pure and fragile being with a loving heart who, precisely out of love for suffering beings, illuminates their idea of conditioning and non-freedom. This ultimate knowledge is possible for all beings with a sincere interest in ending their distressful wandering in Samsara. This realisation makes a state of war impossible, and Peace will reign on Earth. Let every being be horrified at the recurring suffering, end the suffering for its own sake and for the sake of all beings, and share this knowledge. Thank you, Lumír, you are a precious gem. May all beings be happy and free from their suffering

I'll be coming back to it many times.
The book is written in the understandable language of our time, without unnecessary exaggerations, religious or esoteric admixtures. It goes straight to the heart of the matter and simply guides the reader from cause to effect, from the origin of subjective suffering to its transcendence. Throughout the book, the basic doctrine of impermanence is laid out in pure logic, a mathematical equation whose result is zero, or emptiness.
