Samsill Classic Collection Executive Presentation 3 Ring Binder/Portfolio Binder, 1.5 Inch Binder, Brass Round Ring (Holds 325 Sheets), Burgundy

I was looking for a notebook that had a 3 ring binder that was not very thick or wide. I attend many meetings and conference room table space can be limited. My older notebook was thick and wide and took up a lot of space when I had it open to take notes. I worked around this by leaving it in my office and taking notes on sheets of paper and then trying to remember to put them in my notebook. After a few months I soon had notes on different size paper and not filed. I like to be organized and this was extremely frustrating. I spent awhile looking for the right size notebook on line and in office supply stores. I came across the Samsill notebook and it met my needs. It is professional looking (although I could do without the flashy brass corner pieces that my wife likes), it is relatively thin with the 1/2 inch rings and it only opens up to 22 inches. Now my notes are all in one place and I can use it in meetings without taking up so much room. Note it is not a super high quality notebook. If you want that you should look for an expensive leather one. But it fits my needs and I expect it will last me for a long time. I recommend this as a good value for the money.

I was uncertain whether I should order 1.5" or 2". I ultimately ordered 1.5" as a nicer 3-ring binder for containing all three of Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Collected Best graphic novels. Each I've individually stored in a Ultra Pro Platinum magazine holder (ASIN B00095W57C), with a BCW Magazine Board (ASIN B002JQY0NG) to prevent bending, though it was a stretch as the Collected Best Vol III is very thick. As a presentation binder for the graphic novels, 1.5" is a perfect fit.1.5" is exactly the right size. I wanted a 3-ring binder to contain everything, but for what I was storing, I wanted something that looked just as nice and matched the product better than an off-the-shelf binder.This binder is excellent for the price when everyday binders aren't good enough, and I recommend them.

The product looks good, especially for its price point. However, the binder rings are too small for use in an actual choral performance. Standard size pages get stuck on each other because of how close they are in the rings.

Bought this to present my professional portfolio at a competitive job interview.The ring binder itself is a beautiful thing - well made and good quality. It looks professional and would have made me stand out (considering other candidates bought a ringbinder from wilko to interview)It would have been perfect if I didnt have so much to fit in!Unfortunately this meant I had to return this item - but the seller was very understanding and offered me a refund for the unused, pristine returned item. They responded quickly and refunded me promptly - I was very happy with this service and would buy form them again - the product itself is so beautiful I was slightly sad to have to send it back!

The binder is NOT AT ALL what I was expecting. I was hoping for something that looked professional and it looks cheap. I was hoping for something I could use as an accessory when selling my business, instead I will only be able to use it for school. One of the binders is still in great shape a month later, the other one the stitching is sloppy and two of the brass corner pieces have come off. I will be going to my local office supply place in the future; even though it will cost me more I will be getting a better quality product

I like this product. It was not what I was looking for but it did the job. It was the closest item I could find. I have no issues with it and I would certainly recommend it to someone. Nice quality and lays flat when using it to present. If you are looking for a presentation folder this will do the job.

I'm an officiant and purchased the .05 inch binder to use for my Marriage Scripts...it's small and looks very professional.

It is what you see and for the price, you can't go wrong!
