Arrived quickly and as expected though not sealed

I've had recurring fever blisters every few weeks or months all my adult life. Twenty years ago, I used ether (very small bottles from the drug store) to shorten the duration. Ten years ago I found Abreva and used it until last year. It was expensive, worked a little better, certainly smelled better than ether, but the blisters were still a bit unsightly for days and still recurred. FINALLY, I found the lysine products last year! I've waited for a year to review Super Lysine pills and Cold Stick, and it was worth the wait. At first I followed the directions: 3 pills a day. I still had recurring blisters although they were smaller. Then I read an Amazon review that praised the Lysine cold stick as better than Abreva for shortening the duration. I tried it, and it did shorten the attack better. In fact, it seemed to cure the sore overnight. But I still wanted to reduce the attacks, so I tried one pill a day and the Cold Stick on the smaller blisters. They actually seemed to start more often for a while but they never developed with this double defense. Then, miracle of miracles, the recurrence began to decrease and finally stop. I know, I know, one will probably pop up tomorrow, but I've gotta tell you this stuff has provided the first true relief I've ever had.

It works great for dry chapped lips. I used for a cold sore, and helped it disappear quickly! Smells great!

Pricey in my opinion but I do like the product. Seem to keep my lips moist better than chap stick brand. I would like more flavor though.
