Works as good as the orginal
The one that came with the filter lasted about a year. Bought this replacement and it lasted a little over a year. Just bought another one. Seems to be a design flaw with the filter, but cheaper to buy a new propeller each year than a new filter.

Too short
Didn’t use. Replacement on left. Original on right. The impeller is smaller than the original. Diameter may have been correct but the magnet was shorter than original.

Fits perfect in Cascade 1000 filter
I have an old Cascade canister filter which I wanted to start using for my Cichlid tank for extra filtration. I knew I had to change the rubber gasket as the filter was not used for about 2 years. But even after changing the gasket, when I started the filter, I heard the dreaded rattle sounds. Checking the impeller confirmed my dread that it is broken. I was looking around the web in speciality pet shops for a replacement but couldn't find any at reasonable cost. Finally, this one saved my filter and I am happy with the result.
