A workhorse of a knife
Whether for EDC or simply having a sturdy pocket knife, this thing is solid. A thick enough blade without it being too slim to feel like a sub-$100 knife. G10 scales for the grippiness some look for. The Emerson-like hook for instant deployment when removing it from your pocket. And then the finger ring for retention as well as ease of deployment and handling ice-pick/karambit style. For the reviews that mention the sharpness isn't to their liking, in most cases razor-sharp, if you don't have the skill or ability to hone, much less sharpen a knife, then any knife isn't going to be worth your time. It was sharp (enough to pass muster) and after stropping it with leather and then compound for 20 or so passes, it's that razor-sharp level that some of us can't live without. It feels solid in hand and there's no wiggle once the blade is deployed. The bearing mechanism makes it smooth with opening. It feels solid enough to be an heirloom knife with proper maintenance. Recommended.

Extremely well made.
A hefty knife. Sharp, thick and solidly put together. Great for the plate carrier but a little heavy for edc. although I do edc it on occasion) Definitely a great tactical knife.

Tu Lam's knife
Aloha, smooth opening with the Emerson system. Good steel. Not very sharp out of the box, but now it is. Nice YouTube video of Tu talking about the knife. God's blessings to you. Aloha

Carry and use this blade daily.
Not only is it super cool to pull out and deploy the blade to show off .. it’s a great knife . Super affordable . I’ve been using it for a couple months now and the quality , feel and durability is great. The only thing I noticed is that about a week ago when I pull it out and the blade deploys the blade didn’t lock out all the way. Had to give it an extra flick of the wrist for the locking mechanism to lock the blade back. Not a huge deal and doesn’t do it all the time. Thinking I might be pulling it out of my pocket too hard?

Exceptional
This shoto is second to none on appearance, speed, comfort and sharpness.

Great knife
This is my every day knife for now. It’s well put together and got some weight to it that I like. The blade has stayed sharp. It’s comfortable to wear and sits nicely in the pocket with the positive clip retention. The “wave” features makes it easy to open when removing from the pocket.

Blade steel not as advertised
Solid feeling knife, fits hand well.Blade steel advertised as CTS-XHP but is actually 154CM. This needs to be corrected as CTS-XHP is superior steel to the 154CM

Not made with the correct steel.
Title description says made with CTS XHP steel, but is actually made with 154cm steel! An if you read further down and read the full description they finally say it's made with 154cm steel which is kinda misleading in a way. But be aware NOT MADE WITH CTS XHP STEEL!! I ordered one and notice the difference, requested a replacement and got the same 154cm steel as before. I don't know if it's the vendor or whatever but at least they should change their title description to what it actually is. Other than the steel, the karambit seems to be as described.
