This is not a easy process. If you got that impression from another review, they are full of it (if 1st time, you're in for probably 1-2 hrs).That being said, the product was wonderful. The glass fit perfect and no issues with adhesion. I'm really pleased with the outcome and the pricetag of this kit.Tips: Watch a video on youtube to see the process and the parts of the phone to be cautious about, do not use a hair dryer (buy a low temp heat gun if you have to $15-20), do it inside a small box or set some packing paper down and fold up the edges (to catch tiny glass pieces) and if you have an x-acto or craft knife use the chisel/flat blade.

Installed on my phone with 2 replacement screens and a broken frame. Definitely does the job, the part is great. Just keep in mind that it’s not an easy part to replace. It’s was very difficult for me to do and I ended up with tiny pieces of glass everywhere. Just keep it in mind. Also be careful when installing. I broke the first one and had to order a second one because my frame is broken.

This is the craziest repair I have ever tried. The tools were not sharp or strong enough to handle Apples glue they use on the back of the rear glass. I feel like I should have just glued the new glass straight onto the back of my phone but my case wouldn’t have fit anymore. think I have 20 cuts on my hand as well from the sharp metal plate and glass. You have to heat up your phone dangerously hot to even get little pieces of glass off. It’s crazy, good luck !

I was able to fix my son’s IPhone XR. I saved so much to fix it myself. Came with tools and instructions. No glue though. That you have to purchase aside from this

worked well. make sure you use a heat source to gently heat the old back glass when removing. Make sure you get all the little shards and pieces... especially around the camera. Otherwise the adhesive won't bond and you can crack the replacement when pressing it on.
