I had rotator cuff surgery, and developed a complication, frozen shoulder. It's painful, my rotator cuff is tight with Inflammation, and I can not raise it up much higher than a handshake, so I needed a shoulder ice pack. I have regular square, flat ice packs that are hard to wrap on my shoulder, so I needed this. It helps being able to walk around with an ice pack and not worry about it sliding off. I have not put it on alone though, so I'm not sure if I can get it on alone, and it stays cold on my arm with the velvet side down for almost an hour. I could turn it over onto the frosty side with a towel on my arm, but it lasts long enough on the one side. I do put it back in the bag when I put it back into the freezer, and I recommend it.*I wasn't in a stabilizer sling when I wrote the first review, and I had to have a revision repair on my shoulder with a different surgeon 2weeks ago due to the first surgeons incompetency. But, I can get in and out of this by myself, and I love it. You just have to put it on gently, because your shoulder will be sore, but the ice packs at physical therapy are a bit stiff at first also, so it's normal. I wanted to show you how it looks with a stabilizer sling on. My surgeon gave me a similar cheaper free square ice pack after surgery, but I only use this one without a second thought. It wraps well on the areas that need the ice the most, front shoulder, back of the shoulder, and down the outside of the arm. I still recommend it.

This Heat/Ice pack has been extremely helpful in dealing with my torn rotator cuff and labrum. Very easy to put on individually or with help. Very comfortable and very well made.

The design and fit is good but not great. I have problems with my shoulder and it is hard for me to use this wrap without alot of help. Once it is on, it works great and does a good job of applying cold or heat to my shoulders. I have a fairly large chest, male, and the stretch belt that goes around from the back to the front under the opposite arm is very hard to get completely around and fastened. It takes both me and my wife several times to get it to stay. The other wrap hat secures the other end toyour upper arm is also impossible to to alone. It is easier to wrestle 2 cats into a bucket of water, lol.With that said, this product does the best job for applying cold or heat to my shoulders. No more fighting to keep a bag on my shoulder or having to sit still, afraid to move and loose the bag. For me, it is worth the effort to put on. My wife may have a different opinion. She prefers the bag, less effort for her but with a bag I have to sit still, not move or do anything.

I received the Igo Heals Ice Pack when it was promised. There was a problem with the Ice Pack,I contacted the seller to express my concern and displeasure and spell out in detail what the issue was.With no hassle the reseller replied asking for photos and said they would replace the Ice Pack.As is usual for me I procrastinated and did not take photos right away, then the package arrived. The new package looks fine, I haven’t opened yet and don’t know that I will. I may have been hasty in contacting the seller before I was ready, as I had not thought about what I wanted as an outcome for the first Ice Pack having a problem. After having some time to think it over and having had time to thoroughly check out the Ice Pack and freeze it once, I’ve come to the conclusion it is not the quality I want. It has a stiff feeling to it when it was not frozen and once frozen it is extremely stiff and unmanageable to lay flat on the skin. Finally, the space it took up in the freezer was way too much. I think going back to using a dampened and frozen kitchen towel as it was easier to manage and was very functional without taking very much space in the freezer. In closing: The concept is a good one but it failed any practical usefulness. The Reseller was very easy to contact and their response was immediate.I give the Reseller 5 Gold Stars

It's tricky to get it on correctly at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's great. Not having to mess around with towels between you and the ice is very nice, due to the fuzzy side. My advice is fold it in half lengthwise, do the strap on the lower part, and slide your arm through it. Then tighten it on your upper arm and run the other strap around behind you. Kinda tricky. Helps if you have a roommate or spouse. Straps have velcro on both sides, so even if you get a strap twisted, no biggie.Definitely recommend.

I had 4 months of waiting for a reverse shoulder replacement. My pain was off the charts (from internal bleeding). This ice pack was such a help in keeping my sanity. Just had surgery on the 01-17-23 and now it is relieving my pain from the surgery. It's kind of heavy but bearable. It is just as pictured and described. Absolute godsend.

If you have a shoulder injury this is the icepack for you. When you have a shoulder injury, you just need ice to reduce inflammation. This does the job. I only wish the angle in which the strap pulls on the ice pack was a little steeper to get better shoulder coverage. Other than that, it does the job...

DO NOT buy! This thing is impossibly hard to get on by yourself if you have any form of a legit shoulder injury. I have a large tear in my labrum and bought this hoping for some relief before my surgery. I cannot get this thing on and strapped without it becoming undone or it sits incorrectly. Very frustrating.. wish I could give it 0 stars. You need another person to put this on if you cannot move your arm like me.
