Was good to deal with past issues
Felt it could have gone a bit furher or been more helpful. But it was still worth reading and the best on the subject I have read.

Very good
I have read Mr. Lutzer's books for a long time; his books point to the Lord and His Word, to help and guide you on your path to being healed and get well. He does NOT give you a list of 10 things to do, to fix things, or yourself.

Excellent Book
This is simply, one of the best books on forgiveness and dealing with past hurts. Reinforcing the knowledge that God is good and all things work together for good to those who love the Lord. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is struggling with abuses from their past.

Def worthwhile
I recommend this book to anyone who is counseling others, or simply walking through the journey of life. This book offers practical advice and spiritual guidance. I think I will be rereading this book over and over!

Full of contradictions
The book will tell you nothing that you probably don't know already and worse, leave your confused. For example:on page 80 it states "We should do all we can to promote justice and those who have commited crimes should be dealt with in the courts".Then in a further chapter its states. "We've learned that forgiveness is free to the person who receives it but very costly for the person who dispenses it." "If God paid our debt at high personal cost, what makes us think we can pay the debt of someone else without accepting some lass."So, do you take a debtor or trespasser to court or forgive him? To sue or not to sue. Confused. Yeah, so am I. The author might have been to colleges and schools of law, but has no awareness or insight to practical cirumstances and events. It seems he has not even thought things through.Terrible book
