I wont say it was anything i didnt expect it to be, but i have to say that after the rave reviews about it on amazon and on the internet, i was disappointed. Like, this isnt grocery store balsamic, i dont know what i was expecting when i knew it was made from grape musk. Maybe more acid or sweetness? It was heavy on the musk, that thing was funky, and not in a cheese way, like an army boot thats been sitting in the closet for a while. Acidity wise, it was lightly acidic, very thick, and i honestly prefered the younger bottle over the older one. It was sweeter and less intense. A little does go a long way. Right now, im still a bit skeptical on the flavor, but maybe itll frow on me. I like fava beans, so, you know, im not against the taste of feet.

If you have never had good balsamic vinegar I suggest you go with miabella aged. It is a lot less expensive, but once you are introduced to the good stuff, this is the next step up. It is a pretty big step. This stuff comes out really thick. Balsamic vinegar is not like any other, at least the good stuff is. The stuff mixed with white vinegar is a far cry from this stuff. There is a slight tang but a wonderful sweetness. I use it with a good olive oil to dip rolls in. Oh my gosh. I have tried it on a really good steak but I can not put enough on to really appreciate it. On vanilla ice cream it works well but it is a waste of money. It works well on a salad. The best part, buying them both like this is a LOT cheaper than buying them separately, in fact these are the same as others that sell for more each than this set.

Rapport qualité prix imbattable. Le 12 ans est déjà merveilleux mais le 25 ans est spectaculairement riche en saveurs.
