Limoncho Lemon - Lime Salt Mexican Candy, 0.42 Ounce (Pack of 10)

I have always bought it when I take trips to the West Coast, now I can get it on amazon. We use it on so many dishes. Great flavor! I have even used it in themed party favor bags. Everyone loves it!

It came on time and was well packed. Tasted great used to get these when I was a kid :-) happy to find out they still make them.

I first tried this when found on clearance table at Smart & Final ! and loved it! problem was! that they didn't carry it anymore! at first thought that would not be a problem because I am fortunate to have plenty of Hispanic Grocery stores in my area! The first one I tried I "thought" I had found! but once I tried it knew it wasn't it! Though it was good, it turned out to be a lemon flavor not Lime! and not same brand!the packaging was SO similar to swear it was Identical in every way! I saved an empty one so that I could remember what to look for! but eventually through away! I even did a search on Amazon for it, but nothing at that time showed up! but have found many times that just because something on Amazon or on the Web on one search does not mean it will not show up later! so many months later I got a successful hit! Yay me! I use this basically on fresh fruits but also like on/in Asian noodle soups and dishes! their are lots of types of these " Powders/salts" and that include chili for a spicy flavor that are quite good! but some times I just need or like to added separately to control how much chili taste/heat I want! and sometimes don't want the chili! and most of these products its a Lemon flavor not lime! which was fine till I got "hooked" on the Lime flavor! and the most important reason is that Limes and lemons are very expensive right now! I much prefer a natural fruit juice squeezed on my dishes! the price on Amazon is a bit higher but not enough to make a difference for me! and will continue to order !

Ever since Lucas Limon got banned like over a decade ago, I have missed it. Then I stumbled on Limon Cho, and its awfully close, closer than any other kind of lime salt I've ever tried. Its fantastic. It goes great on fruit or veggies. My only complaint is that the containers are only about half full. I thought maybe that was a fluke from the candy store I found the first one at, but just got a brand new ten pack that I ordered off here and each shaker is only filled about halfway, which is a bit deceiving on the behalf of the company. However, I'm still going to order more because half of my pack already got claimed by family members lol

This product is basically lemon flavored table salt. That being said, I love it. I use it often on veggies or in sauces to give it a more sour and savory flavor.I'll sprinkle a little on my tongue from time to time to excite my pallets before a meal to better experience the flavors. It's a pallet pre-exciter.A little sprinkle in a pint of beer is also nice and brings out flavor tones.I'm also a fan of using this on sweet apple slices to zest them up a bit, but found that using it on tarter apples like a granny smith are a bit overwhelming on the sour side.I would not recommend this for anyone with high blood pressure (hypertension) because they are not made with lemons. It's basically table salt coated in malic acid (the stuff they coat warhead candies in to make them super sour.)Use moderatly.

When walmart stopped selling it in store i searched online and found it here. Comes with alot but lasts a long time. Love it soo much
