Helps calm my skin while simultaneously refreshing it and giving it a brand new glow. Not sure if I could justify the price on the effectiveness of the product, but it is luxe and makes me feel good to use.

I'm not really familiar with luxury brands such as Agent Nateur, but with this I can see why it's popular. To address one thing out of the gate: this is expensive. It's a luxury brand and while it's not the most expensive item out there, it's something that will be a splurge for many.This is something where a little goes a long way - the goal here is to spread out a thin layer over your skin. You can use more if you wish, but it really isn't necessary. I tested this out myself to see if the thickness of application made a difference and I'm very pleased to say that by large, it didn't. It didn't dry out as quickly with the thicker layer, but the difference was small enough to where I think it would be best to apply an even thin layer and make the most out of the bottle. By the time you apply lotion and cosmetics, that small difference won't really be noticeable.This product didn't really have a strong smell to it. There's a general cosmetic scent, but not anything I could name one way or another other than a faint aloe smell. This is actually kind of nice, since I wouldn't want my face mask to be very overwhelming, especially if I plan on sleeping with it on. After washing it off I could smell cucumber most, which made me happy since it's such a wonderful and neutral scent. It also smelled like actual cucumber that you'd cut in a kitchen (albeit faint), so if you don't like very artificial scents then you'll be pleased here.I initially tried this on the back of my hand (one of the areas recommended by the manufacturer) to make sure that I didn't have any reaction to the contents. I didn't - not that I was really expecting to - and honestly, I just couldn't stop stroking the back of my hand, as it just felt so soft. Washing this off was also oddly soothing as well. Water rehydrates this so there's this pleasant slippery feeling while you wash off the mask. It's also why warm water is the best to use, as it will help get it off the most thoroughly.Also worth noting: while this does have a bit of the "ingredient speak" you tend to see with any cosmetics, I could actually identify what was in this by looking at the label. I think that's where some of the price value here may be, as it does look like it tries to keep the ingredients as natural as possible, which is nice.Now keep in mind that the effects here are temporary - you will need to reuse this to keep it up - but this is something that would be great for a pick you up, a big event, or just for a day of pampering. The price puts it slightly out of my reach as a regular item, but depending on how long this bottle lasts it may be something I'm willing to see as an investment.This also came with a brush, which I found nice. It's good for application, although I think fingers could work just as well here if you wanted to skip that - I don't know if this was something that we got as a special extra as Vine people or not. It's a good brush, as it helps apply things evenly and is nice to hold, if you're looking to get the brush as well.

Mine didn't come with a complementary mask brush.

This resurfacing mask is impressive because after one use I saw a significant change in my skin tone and complexion. My skin clarity was cleaner and my compliant looked tighter and healthier with smaller pores and imperfections. Don’t get me wrong this is not a miracle product but, it is a very effective resurfacing mask. I’ve been using this mask for 2 almost 3 weeks now and my complexion has really benefited from using this mask twice a week. After using this mask for almost 3 week I didn’t experience any purging or adverse side effects from adding this resurfacing mask to my skin care routines.This mask has a subtle cucumber scent with maybe an earthy or herbal undertone. The scent is kind of refreshing. This mask does slightly tingle on application. The directions state it can be used up to 3x per week by applying and either washing it off at 30 minutes or applying it to leave it on over night and wash off in the morning. My skin can be sensitive so I elected to use this mask for 30 minutes. On first use of this mask I immediately noticed my pores were smaller, my skin felt smooth, refreshed, and tighter. After using this for mask for about 3 week my skin looks more healthy, radiant and more youthful. I was worried this mask might dry my skin out but, it really hasn’t. The mask washes off easily and reveals a lovely naturally radiant healthy complexion.The ingredients in this mask are great and the results are visible just after first use! It would be nice to see the packing using a larger font size especially given one side of the box doesn’t even have anything on it. I am very impressed with this mask! The price is steep for a 30ml mask but, the results are worth it. I also appreciate the 12 month shelf life. I find using this mask twice a week to be effective but I think now I might start to rotate using this mask once a week and twice a week every other week. I am definitely very happy with both my results and experience using with this mask and would highly recommend it to anyone. This is the second product I have used by this brand and I am very impressed by this brand. Their products simply work and use good ingredients.
