Fantastic well-written book!
Book Review! #SPOILERFREE⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5It must be love- Caroline Khoury~ I devoured this book within one sitting, it had me entranced right from the start. Khoury’s ability to recognise the significant taboo of postnatal depression was incredible, she conveyed the considerations and apprehensive feelings surrounding motherhood impeccably, portraying that the new life most of us delve into with conflicting and almost guilt-ridden feelings is typical in what is meant to be the most ecstatic time of a woman’s life.~ I adore the fact that Caroline decided to use a time-shift narrative method instead of the proceeding usual novels which follow in strict chronological sequences which transfused the build up of tension as a reader, the slow burn of writing was fantastic to build up the questions of what’s going to happen a next…a true “will they won’t they” storyline.~ The best part of this emotional rollercoaster was the light-hearted humour mostly depicted through the MC Abbie, through her own consciousness which made me giggle through most, the cheeky innuendos indirecting the real rude thoughts she was truly thinking was hilarious.~ Caroline carefully chose a soundtrack in the novel, an example was Coldplay- Fix you, immediately the song in itself represents the theme of true love and intense time of need, the use of these songs helped to reflect the setting entirely, and really fluctuated me as a reader with an intense feeling of nostalgia. Music in these romantic settings fills the imagination of a reader even more than the minds eye for written words.~ The input of Turkish language really contributed to the inclusion of other nationalities spinning a feel of real connection to the other characters, again done perfectly including, Liz, Oz, Charlie and other characters modelled brilliantly.~ The concept of “fate” and “destiny” was a continuing theme throughout the novel stemming through most pages denoting the intense questions we all ponder in life, what if this didn’t happen, what if we did this differently, where would our lives end up?~ I partially enjoyed the use of Carolines geography, in this novel, without me knowing the full proportions of these places, the settings and atmosphere portrayed enforced my knowledge as if almost being there myself. The settings depicted in this novel is a literary element that is significant to us as readers, exploring different events influenced by the setting is imperative, the use of places that she used, such as Istanbul, Paris and other international settings transformed the engagement as I read this book, by emphasising my ability to visualise the events unfolding.~ I’m not going to spoil this book, however the twists that were inside, the rollercoaster of emotions I was taken on, was brilliant. I actually felt sad to have read this story.~ If you haven’t got this yet I completely recommend it to anyone, this debut novel from Caroline herself exceeded my expectations and I’m really looking forward to her next book.~ A true contemporary romance that I really loved. Thank you again for writing such a lovely well thought out plot.

A will they, won't they Romance!
𝙄𝙩 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝘽𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚By Caroline KhouryFourteen days together.Fifteen years apart.Their love story isn't over yet...Abbie and Oz meet when they are young students they have the world at their feet and their connection is just electrical. After a wonderful evening Oz returns home to Istanbul...This tale is a real "will they, won't they?" romance that spans 15 years, we are led through a roller coaster of emotions wondering wheather fate or destiny will take ownership of this couple lives. You travel from London, to Istanbul to Paris and you are left guessing right up until the end.I enjoyed getting to know the other characters throughout the book such as Abbies friend Liz, Amy her sister and Charlie her fiance. They supported the storyline so well and allowed the reader to find out snippets of what had happened during the 15 year timescale.A lovely Romance novel and wonderful debut novel for @carolinekauthor❤ Romance✉️ Will they? Lovely read
I have had this book sitting on my shelves for what seems forever and I have to say that I’m delighted to have finally picked it up and read it.This storyline had a bit of a love triangle feel to it which is something I don’t normally enjoy, but for some reason that didn’t bother me at all.I really liked Abbie a lot, she had some strong shoulders on her, and she would really do anything for anyone. Her love language was helping others for sure, though sometimes it definitely caused herself some issues. Charlie was lovely and they seemed to have a great life together and had great plans for their future. Then there was Oz, who else could even compete? Lovely guy but man they got the timing wrong. This book had so much going on, you will be transported to some beautiful places and also enjoy sightseeing in them too. It’s also told over multiple timelines so you get to see how Abbie met both of these guys and what happened in the relationships. This book is one of those books that just whisks you away to another place and time and it’s one you won’t want to put down.I really enjoyed how the story played out and absolutely loved the ending. An absolute pleasure 🩷

Love it!
I got this after reading 'Still Unwritten' by Caroline Khoury, which I loved. 'It Must Be Love' is a great love story with exciting locations, interesting characters, and some laugh-out-loud moments; I wish I'd saved it for my summer holiday. I am going to order 'Always You' and try not to read it before I go away : )
