The Essential Homeschool Preschool and Pre-K Workbook: 135 Fun Curriculum-Based Activities to Build Pre-Reading

This workbook is really great for 3-4 year olds. Teaches letters and letter sounds, handwriting, numbers, patterns and shapes. The pages are pretty simple which prevents frustration. My daughter would do several pages a day so the book didn’t last as long as I thought it would. Some of the clip art they use is pretty cheap and could definitely be done better. All in all, these books helped guide my daughter and I through lots of teacher. This book would be perfect for someone without a lot of experience teaching kids because the ages tell you exactly what to say.

I’m homeschooling my 4 year old, we chose to do prek as a trial run to make sure we can succeed in the coming years with this. Out of all of the resources I have purchased, this is by far the best one. It’s incredible and has taught my daughter every single letter in the alphabet when before she didn’t know any of them except P. We started in august and have worked in it 3 days a week up until today and we couldn’t be happier with it. It’s phenomenal! I can’t recommend enough!

My five year old boy in pre-k loved this book so much. He did several pages a day and got a lot of good practice. It’s printed on great quality paper with fun colors and graphics. I highly recommend it.

I babysit my granddaughter at my house while her mom works. She has fun learning and I have fun teaching her. Wonderful learning books.
