The First Shot: A Prequel to THE LAST MRS. PARRISH

We learn more about Mrs.Parrish. Her tricks aren’t new tactics. Quick enough read. Very juicy prequel. Ready to read more about Mrs.Parrish.

An enjoyable, quick read. I liked getting the backstory to what makes Amber, Amber.... or Lana, Amber?I would definitely wait and read this AFTER The Last Mrs. Parrish, but BEFORE The Next Mrs. Parrish. Just my two cents on the best order.

The book was a quick read, which is a pro, but the characters were difficult. I read this before The Last Mrs. Parrish and I hope it’s easier to get behind!

Okay to be fair I bought this because the second book was unavailable, which is the Housemaid’s Secret. So then after reading this book I ordered the Housemaid’s Secret and it’s the same plot and same characters just a different name on the cover. Disappointed? Yes! Hesitate to buy the third installment….. Don’t buy both!!!

I like reading longer novels, but I was so pleased with the pace and depth, of this novel. Or perhaps it’s a novella, either way the Constantine sisters wrote a very good psychological thrillers.

If you read The Last Mrs. Parrish, then this is an absolute must read! Loved finding out Amber’s story. It was a great kick off to the book coming out on June 2024

Interesting quick read to give a little background how Lana shed her snake skin and became Amber.Really get to see just what levels she is willing to stoop down to in order to get her what she’s after. She has no conscience or soul. She’s well researched and learns how to be whatever or whomever her target needs to believe she is. Looking forward to reading The Next Mrs. Parrish.

Quick easy read. If you read the first one then this is a good prequel. If you haven't.. even more fun.

I loved The Last Mrs. Parrish which is why I read this. It’s going to be fun to see where the Constantine’s take us!

It's good to get to know Amber before she enters Parish life. Sad I didn't know about this book before as would be nice to read in order but still, fantastic 😍

Very quick read but great! I wished it was a bit longer but overall well worth the read. It sets up the story for The Last Mrs Parrish. I would definitely recommend.

I loved the last Mrs parrish, I read it a while ago, but you don't have to have read it, to enjoy this prequel.

I didn’t take much from this qs you don’t gone out much more in this 119 pages than you do in the last mrs parish.It feels rushed and silly with none of the skill and cleverness of the Last mrs Parish.Feels like it was knocked out quick to change based on how well the other book was received. Makes me nervous to be the sequel as this prequel is poor.
