Jennie Finch: Softball Superstar (Y Not Girl)

Great book I am 11 and read this for a biography book report.I love softball and this book is great. I wish it was a little longer and had a little more detail. But besides that the book was phenomenal!

My daughter had to do a 5th grade biography report on Jennie Finch and this book met all her needs and taught her even more about her favorite softball pitcher.

I have alot of respect for Jennie Finch and what she has accomplished. But this book (not written by Jennie) was a huge disappointment. It's really a 20,000 foot flyover of her career/life in softball. I read it cover to cover in less than 2 hours. Save your money on this one, there is nothing new or inspiring at all..On the other hand I very much enjoyed her book, Throw like a Girl. It was an excellent read and perfect for the younger athlete to help them understand even elite athletes struggle at times, or don't want to practice, or want to be "normal". If you want to hear from Jennie, purchase the Throw Like a Girl book.
