A fun design made from an old masonry trowel. I cut the design, then electroplate the trowel in stages to get this unique effect. Then I'll add the tongue! These trowels make a great gift for a friend, relative or yourself! This is a fun experimental trowel... I plated the fish with copper and left the original finish on the rest of it. Then I added little copper bubbles to complete this very cute and unique design. I’m really enjoying the process of delving deeper into metal art and exploring new techniques. A recent trip to local sales resulted in the purchase of a quantity of hand saws. This is a new ‘medium’ for me and I’m having a lot of fun designing these and then cutting them out in my shop.
