You cannot make the creations look as pretty as on the photo as the kit only includes a limited amount of thread. Nothing to match the doll’s skin colour, no dark pink for unicorn, no green for doll or rainbow, you can go on… very disappointing. My 6 year old ditched it because it bothered her that much…

This is an adorable little sewing kit aimed at children. Everything you need is in the one box to make 4 small animal toys consisting of a fox, owl, sloth and a bear.All the individual toys have their own package with the precut parts ready to sew together. There are some plastic tapestry needles, thread skeins, instructions and some toy stuffing included.Brilliant activity enjoyed by the children, requires a little supervision, patience and skill but the end results are worth it. Acceptable value at £13.99 (at the time of review) because I feel the set is well organised and ready to use, you get quite a lot out of it and was enjoyable. Once it is done, it is done but I think sewing for children is a great skill to learn and this is a great start.

This is a lovely crafting set for younger children. This will need some adult supervision, to help following instructions. It's all very simple to do and understand. There are four animals to create. Each one is in it's own separate packet . It's all precut with pre installed holes for the stitching. You just need to add the stuffing and choose the right thread. The needles are large and sturdy plastic with large eyes, easy to thread This is a lovely activity for the whole family or undertake one on one. Thoroughly recommend.
