One of my biggest questions before purchasing these was: Will they hold my bathroom mirror? The answer is yes.The mirror in my bathroom is 48" x 36" and is relatively heavy (maybe 50 ish pounds).Any way, you need, probably a 3/8" hole in whatever your going in to; 5/16 didn't cut it, wasn't big enough. I ended up drilling out a 1/2" hole and it worked perfectly fine.The silicone washers are very thin and DO tend to stick together but you should have 2 per standoff.I bought 4 heavy duty, 100 lb anchors to go into the dry wall before going in with the bases of each stand off.Used 4 total for my 48" x 36" mirror and they look and perform great!

Perhaps I missed it in the product description, these units are hollow inside. Its amazing how the base unit is joined together in such a seamless way. To me, it's incredible that the manufacture went to the effort to cut a cylinder and weld to ends together to make this one piece. Very lightweight. So lightweight, it may be aluminum. Perhaps the manufacturer (Chinese, you think) was trying to save on weight, thus shipping? Even the cap in not entirely stainless steel. The cap is solid steel (zinc coated) with a form fitting stainless steel cap/sleeve. My application was an exterior one, I'm dubious about how they will hold up in the weather. Time will tell.

The media could not be loaded.  Exactly what I wanted and are very sturdy. The mounting hardware is garbage so get a better anchor if this is going to be placed into drywall. I wrapped plumbers tape around the screws to cushion the weight of the bare glass edge and it worked like a charm!

I wanted to diy those ‘floating frames’ that consist of a photo held between two sheets of glass/plexiglass and though I didn’t go that exact route, I LOVE the way these look. They’re easy to install on this sheet of plexiglass provided you drill a guide-hole first!

These are great. They arrived blemish free, easy to thread; overall no issues. I would purchase again.**My only complaint is that I purchased two different sizes, knowing I’d send one pack back back. Refund was issued quickly, but I was only issued half the purchase price. I’m very confused as to why, but it was only $3ish so I’m not making a huge deal of it.

Wish the 'holders' would screw out further. You only get about an inch thickness. Apparently all these types of mounts are the same.

Really easy to install for sure, the finish is pretty modern, and I thought this was gonna be more expensive but definitely not and my signs looks amazing

I mean, you can tell they're cheaply made by how difficult they are to screw together. Like, either the material is subpar or the dude on the CNC machine made these on a Monday, where he was most likely hungover or on a Friday, where he did the absolute minimum just to finish, get off work and start drinking.
