Lovely, light oil, absorbs quickly; leaves my skin so soft & smooth -- citrus/floral scent...
This is a wonderful facial oil. It is a lovely pale gold in color and is light-weight. It goes on easily and is absorbed quickly into my very dry and dehydrated skin. It doesn't leave any oily feeling or a sheen on my skin. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth and minimizes many of the lines and wrinkles on my forehead and around the eyes and mouth. Unlike many other facial oils I have tried that are heavy or take a long time to be absorbed so are only suitable for use in the evening, I can use this one in the morning as the final step in my routine. The oil has a fairly strong scent of citrus and white flowers. I think it smells great, but I know many people prefer unscented skin care products and this does have added fragrance (see the listed ingredients that are shown in the last part of the product description page underneath the "compare with similar items" section). The oil is beautifully presented in a heavy, frosted glass bottle with a glass dropper delivery system. The dropper has a bent tip for ease of use. The current price of $39.99 seems a bit high for only one ounce of oil, but it is very well formulated, and of very good quality. Just a very little is all that is needed so I'm sure the bottle will last a long time. It arrived boxed and sealed which is something I always check for. I'm happy to support a US based business.

Strong Cologne Scent
This face oil has an exceptional list of ingredients; until you consider the fragrance. It smells like a really strong cologne (bordering on a masculine scent), and I am honestly surprised at how many great reviews this has. Most people reviewing it seem to love the smell. It's not a clean or feminine scent. Furthermore, it's so strong that it should be marketed as an all day, headache inducing, perfumed body oil. When I first opened it last night, I thought 'Oh, this smells nice'. But that was before I pumped any out. So being excited to try it, I went ahead and put it on. Since a small amount went a long way, I rubbed the rest on the tops of my hands. The smell gets old very quickly, and it does not dissipate. I went to bed. I laid there waiting for the strong scent to lessen, but it only seemed to get stronger. Still, I waited. My skin is pretty dry, so I wanted to give it time to soak in and do it's job. On both counts (soaking in, and scent dissipation), it never happened. So here's a question for dry skin folks: Have you ever put an oil based product on your face, and after awhile your face just feels dry & parched, yet you can still feel the oil on the surface? Well that's what this feels like.Certain oils soak in and others don't seem to. Some oils help only to the extent that they form a barrier so your natural moisture can't escape. It probably depends upon the formulation, and maybe individual skin types. So anyway, I gave it over a half hour on my face and finally couldn't stand it anymore. I went and washed it off, then applied one of my minimal scent lotions instead. What a relief!I am going to give this to my sister who absolutely loves overly strong scents. She's the type that can't have just one incense burning. She has to have multiples burning at once. Along with candles and diffusers. You get the picture. She's the only one I can think of to give this to, and my guess it that she will love it.If anyone out there is like her, I'm sure you will love this face oil, too.I know I am not in the majority here, but this is my honest opinion. Thank you for reading my rambling review!

Very Fragrant, Very Rich, Very Moisturizing
If you are averse to strong fragrances, this serum is not for you. It has a decidedly indolent white flower fragrance - perhaps Tahitian jasmine or tuberose. Fortunately I love the smell of white flowers, so I don’t object to the fragrance, just the very LOUDNESS of that fragrance. It would be great in a lotion or a perfume, but I find it a bit too strong for a facial product. The serum itself sits on my skin longer than I would like. But, this will vary by person. What I will say is hours after I first used it, my skin felt amazingly soft. I had no adverse reactions. The ingredient list is pretty impressive. This is the first serum I have tried with Amla as a major ingredient. Amla is Indian Gooseberry - a superfood high in anti-oxidants and vitamin c. I will continue to use it to reap the benefits of the Amla and the other wonderful ingredients in this serum which include passion fruit, CoQ10, Moringa and more.

Wonderful for very dry skin like mine. The best I have tried.
Amlacuja Glow Brightening Facial Oil is a Godsend for people with very dry skin like myself. It has a combination of extremely hydrating oils that deeply nourish my skin and relieve the dryness. The bottle has a push button pump type applicator and only a few drops are needed for my whole face. It has a scent - nothing offensive but it's noticeable. I don't love the scent but it goes away after about 10 minutes on my face. I apply my night cream over the serum after it absorbs and my face is wonderfully hydrated in the morning. Sometimes, I don't even apply cream. It hydrates that well that I don't feel the need to add more moisture. This doesn't have any particular anti-aging "miracle ingredients" except for some Vitamin C but the oils are good for the skin and hydration is the key to looking younger. I really like this serum and I have tried dozens. This is one I will purchase over and over because my skin loves it. If you have oily or combination skin, this will be too heavy for you. Dry skin will drink it up and glow!

OK
This Amlacuja brightening facial oil is pretty good. I haven't really noticed much "brightening" yet though. It has a light scent that isn't bad. It goes on oily, but soaks in before too long. It seems a little on the expensive side to me. I gave it 3 stars because it is not bad, but not getting the results that I was hoping for (yet).
