WARNING: don't remove the temporary wire ring on either expansion plug before fitting!
Looks sturdy and well made but WARNING: Oxford seem to have redesigned the expansion plugs (they look different in this video) but sadly not changed their printed instructions. The plugs I received are held together by a removable, temporary-looking wire ring (not mentioned or shown in the instructions), so I assumed this ring had to be removed. No! If you remove the ring before you have at least partially inserted the plug into your drilled hole, the plug falls apart and I can't put it back together again. Very frustrating. I can’t see any other option but to send the whole kit back and ask for refund or a complete replacement kit.
