LDR Industries 501 5100 Garbage Disposal Stopper, White

We tried this on both drains in our kitchen sink and in our laundry room sink and could not make it hold water. We tried pushing it down while running water as suggested by other users and wiping the drain lip before putting the stopper in place but never was able to achieve a seal. I'm convinced that the only way this stopper would seal is if you glued it in place on the drain. DON'T waste your time or money on this item!

Exactly like the one I purchased years ago but this one doesn't stop my sink up at all. My old one works great, I just thought it was time to get another one.

At first glance this looks great. However it will not seal to the sink, it does slow the flow of water down the drain a bit but does not work I gave it several weeks to see if it would soften up and seal properly but it does not. I pitched both of them in the bin and regret purchasing them.

I was looking for a rubber stopper to replace my current one that is made just like this one. Very hard to find and found it on Amazon for a great price. Shipping took longer than expected though but that is understandable at these times.

I could not find these where I live. I really like them. The price is vey good and they have great suction.

I had high hopes for this as my current stopper lets the sink drain. This stopper works worse than what I have. You can hear the water draining through the other sink drain. Worthless.

sadly this stops absolutely no water.I was looking for something different for my kitchen as the stopper in our apartment had clearly been through many residents and was starting to crack. We had a flat stopper that was doing an ok job but wanted something more substantial. This sadly did not fit the bill at all. It created no seal and just allowed water to flow straight underneath it.I think this would work much better if you just wanted to stop food from going down the drain.

Does not fit into drain, but will give it a try. Sits over the drain, rather than in it. Nipple is larger than drain, so it can move around. New, it seemed to hold water with no leak.
