Guitar Fingerstyle, Vol. 1

Some of the Narada guitar albums are among my faves--and I know I'm going to be playing this album a lot. If you like Leo Kottke or Michael Hedges, you'll like this album. One thing I appreciated--it's not just relaxed music; some is quite lively so this is a good album for morning or daytime as quite a few of the tracks are fast tempo. They often alternate with the slower, meditative style, but overall, it's a livelier album than many, so if you are looking for something to set an exciting, rather than relaxed mood, this is a good choice.I wasn't familiar with any of these guitarists, but now I'm going to be looking for more of their work.Little Martha - Tim Farrell2. This CD is without doubt the single most enjoyable collection of acoustic solo guitar music. There is a Vol. 2 that is very good as well, but the CD has lived in my car so long I felt it necessary to buy a second CD for in-house -- and then I bought 2 more as gifts. Enjoy.

I absolutely love this cd. Both it and the second volume are wonderful items to add to any collection. Great mix up of different 'moods'. The first volume is a bit more mellow, but both are great to listen to, and the skill and talent involved on the songs are amazing. It is truly hard to find a compilation like this. It has taken me around 2-3 years. So if you're even halfway interested, you should buy it.

I have a love for guitar music of all kinds. Be it jazz, rock, blues, acoustic or other. But more and more I find myself listening to lots of acoustic guitar, the warm tones evoke moods and emotions like few other instruments can. In the hands of these accomplished artists, the playing is raised to new heights. This is a great CD for driving, for quiet nights home alone, or with a special someone. Highly recommended for those who are just beginning to explore the genre as well as those who already enjoy it.

Some pieces are well done, some are OK.

I purchased this CD in 1997 in San Francisco. I love the guitar tones, the arrangements and the performances. After 10 years of not knowing where it could be, I repurchased and still love!!

他の方のレビューを参考に購入したのですが、予想どおりのアルバムでした。飽きがきません。

ピアノの練習曲（バイエル）の２０番目程度のばかり。完成された観賞用の曲は含まれておらず。　聴くことの楽しさは期待出来ず、ギターの音色で癒されることはない。
