Loved faucet - beware Bar/Prep is smaller than Kitchen Faucet
This faucet is great. It is solidly built, the magnet on the spout works well, and the touch technology was reliable. Also loved the light which showed the temperature of the water. One thing to beware of:This is a BAR / PREP faucet, NOT a full-size kitchen faucet. We bought this for our kitchen and it looked disproportionate to the sink. Once we looked closely at the specs, realized this is much SMALLER than a full kitchen sink. Who knew. It's an easy thing to miss, and the regular customer who isnt buying faucets all the time won't know the difference, unless someone tells them.

Love the touch technology, great sprayer, excellent water pressure. Go for touch technology.
We're in the middle of a kitchen remodel. Doing it ourselves, so we're dealing with a lot of extended "in the middle." Since there are many options for purchase here, this is the model I purchased: (Delta Faucet 9913T-AR-DST Essa Single Handle Bar/Prep Faucet with Touch2O Technology and MagnaTite Docking, Arctic Stainless $187.94 - keep in mind that the prices do change frequently for things like this. I've seen this model in the $250 range on Amazon as well).I ordered the touch technology arctic stainless faucet to replace the IKEA faucet I originally had bought to go with my IKEA farmhouse sink with apron. I loved the sink, but was ultimately unhappy with the IKEA faucet from a functionality standpoint. The IKEA faucet did not have enough of an angle, so the water essentially went straight down the drain so we had to lean into the sink much further just to wash our hands or do anything. Additionally, the sprayer was not nearly as powerful as I would have liked, despite the fact our water pressure is fine. The Delta faucet is fantastic. My husband found the faucet to be easy to install. We did not use the baseplate (they call it an escutcheon). To me, the baseplate would look out of place on a farmhouse sink with apron. Perhaps there are sinks where it would look right, but not mine. You can leave the faucet in the on position and then touch any spot on the faucet except the retractable part of the nozzle to turn the faucet on/off. At first, we were getting drips after turning the faucet off, but it was because we did not have the faucet pulled into the on position all the way. If it's on all the way, it'll come on full force and there will be no drips when we turn it off. The sprayer is awesome and the hose is really long. It also retracts and locks into place perfectly with the dock locking mechanism.I saw on similar faucets where people thought the "eye" at the base was a sensor like those automatic faucets that some public bathroom sinks have; that's not what this is, obviously. The color on the "sensor" will be blue when the color is cool. It is red when it's hot. It is somewhere in the middle of a red/blue but not exactly blended purple color when it's not 100% cold nor hot. The sensor only lights up while the water is running. Oh, I didn't realize that the batteries would be shipping with the touch technology pack, so that was a pleasant surprise. It's not as tall as the first faucet from IKEA, but that's fine. It actually makes it easier to get to the window because it's only 14.5 inches tall. We've only had it installed for a few weeks, but I can tell you already that as much as I like it, the only visual problem that I have is just how spotty it gets. Unfortunately, it is not spot resistant. The other thing is that if I'm filling a pot of water, I find that I accidentally turn off the water from bumping the pot into the faucet. So the faucet can even be affected by the touch of a pot, not just your hand.I find that I try touching the faucet in the bathroom now, which I find so funny! I do love the ease of just touching the faucet when my hands are covered in something. It is SO convenient. If you are debating if this is worth it, it is. When you consider the price for a new faucet and see that the cost of this one with touch technology is less than some faucets without, you have to go for this!Overall, happy with this purchase. Pleased to have found same Delta faucet here for sale on Amazon for much less than in stores. Excuse the "ugly no backsplash" look going on in my pictures, but again. . .remodel.EDIT: It's been about 5 months and we still have not had to replace the batteries, and the faucet gets a lot of daily use.EDIT: We replaced the batteries Christmas week, so we're looking at a nearly nine-month shelf life. The faucet began to flash when we tapped it on, with the colors flashing from blue to red to blue to red. That was the signal. So with three people in the house and everyone using the faucet on a regular basis, I don't think that people really need the adapter. I think batteries will hold up for you just fine.

Not as advertised
I bought this faucet to replace a cheap one that came with the house. Instead of buying a brand from China, I thought I'd spend a bit more and get a Delta. American build quality and all, right? If only...Here's some facts.1) The faucet has a braided nylon line on the spray head, not a braided steel line as pictured. Nylon doesn't last nearly as long as steel in this application.2) The hot and cold are REVERSED on the faucet. Every other faucet in the world has hot on the left (or top for one with a handle like this) and cold on the right or bottom. This one is the reverse. It's not easy to make this switch mentally.3) The handle is extremely tight and touchy. It's very hard to select pressure between full-blast and off.4) The water supply lines are a rigid poly style line which kink easily during the install. Delta calls this "InnoFlex PEX". Most faucets at this price point include a pair of flexible steel braided lines to connect the hot and cold... but not Delta.5) The mounting method isn't very sturdy and gives you a faucet that wobbles around, even with everything underneath the counter fully tight.6) The spray selector is also backwards from most faucets on the market. You press "up" on the selector to get the cleaning spray instead of down. Down is the standard flow pattern.7) The spray selector stays on whatever setting you had it on last. It does not return to standard faucet flow if left on spray.8) Water pressure is outstanding. Amazingly good. I can complain about almost every other feature, but this faucet has great pressure.TLDR: Terrible faucet except for the water pressure.

it's almost perfect. I also have a regular-size Essa in my ...
Put this in my laundry room; it's almost perfect. I also have a regular-size Essa in my kitchen. I looked at just about every faucet made, and I'm not exaggerating; I spent months deciding. I love the sleek look. The only thing I don't love about it is the pressure (both faucets); it will definitely splash outside of the sink if you turn it on too far. It's been 3 months and I still have to remind myself to be careful when turning it on. I try to always turn it back to regular stream and not spray, because if I do turn it on too far in spray mode everything nearby gets a shower. One more very minor thing is that the toggle button seems like it is in center position for stream and "up" for spray; seems like it should be up for one and down for the other, but no biggie. (BTW, I also have Delta shower hardware, and the pressure situation is the opposite, yet only a short distance from other faucets, so it's not our pipes.)

Good quality and easy installation
The installation instructions are of the dreaded ‘general instructions of models you don't own’ type. Having said that, it was pretty simple to figure out. The item itself is of solid quality. It is a single hole type. It supports covering up 2 of existing three hole types BUT does not include the optional plate. Buy separately as well if you need.

Well made and great looking.
Can't wait to get this installed. Also got a black sink so it's going to look so awesome with the white marble countertop. Love ut

I had a plumber install it
Good quality.. all metal.I was going to purchase the identical touch one but the plumber says too many problems with the touch ones. Not just Delta. This is a better choice!

Malfunctioning within 6months
It worked great for the first couple of months and then it has been consuming 6 batteries every 2 weeks. I bought an overpriced $50 AC adapter (Similar ones sold at dollar stores) which came with a very short cord and I had to do electrical work. The temperature indicator is malfunctioning as well, showing red (which means hot water) even when the water is cold. Not happy overall. I would not recommend this product. I will not choose a Delta product again.

Poor faucet head
Price of product was too high for the overall performance - due to the height and normal water pressure going through the faucet head resulted in water spraying all over. Faucet had to be modified to fit under the sink so product could not be returned for refund. Very disappointed in product.
