About the electric Rice cooker
I recently purchased this electric rice cooker, and overall, it's a pretty good product. It's easy to use, cooks rice perfectly, and the design is simple yet effective. The only downside is that it doesn’t come with a steamer attachment, which would have been a great addition for steaming vegetables or other side dishes. Other than that, it does its job well, and I'm happy with the performance.

A great value device. MUST HAVE
Update : After almost a year of extensive use through lockdown this has to be my best purchase ever. 11 friends at last count have bought this seeing my success with it. Not counting their friends :) surprised to see so many bad reviews. One friend had an issue with the unit but Geek replaced it immediately. The companion app is spectacular and has great recipes and constantly worked upon. No other cooker brand is developing an ecosystem like Geek is. KUDOS. Developed so many recipes on my own using this might just start a blog.Having heard about Instant Pot from friends etc. Decided to give this a try. The Robocook costs almost half of Mealthy or Instant Pot and was the only one where spares were listed easily. (in two days of use bought a SS inner container too)Was a little skeptical due to the terrible videos put up by wannabe bloggers to whom the company seems to have sent free units.First out - if you don't have an electric pressure cooker just get one. Period. Best thing you will buy. Now on to Geek - This is a lovely unit. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Effective, efficient and all recipes from instant pot or the Mealthy app can be made with common sense translations. 85% of cooking does not use the presets so those really don't matter that much.Just remember despite the fact you are buying at half the price of the leading brands, this is a high quality product. Misses a couple of functions like yogurt or slow cooker. But does what you need it to do really well and is great value for money.I have made kadhi, Risotto, Paella, Arroz con Pollo, Pulavs, Daal, Steamed Idlis and dumplings and more. Great results. Will soon try pastas and biryani too.Wish a trivet and steam container were included. Made do with something I had. Herbed butter rice at the bottom and steamed lemon fish all cooked at the same time. My time in making it.. Abt 7 mins. The recipe book alongside has some great recipes. However it is not edited well. Mistakes abound but nothing a little common sense will not allow you to get around. You can use the apps from other electric cooker makers or the thousands of you tube recipes as well for the leading brands. In summary, it is a compromise on the big boys, but at half the price you can get two. And once you're cooking with this, you will want a second one.<SS or NS> got both.. Find myself using the NS one more. Guess SS will last longer but NS is more convenient. I say buy NS version and add a SS inner later
