Smokey smell to it - bit does it work ?
Premium Foot Pads by Summer Foot with Lavender Oil I Dermatologically Tested I Detox Foot Pads I Stress Relief I Detoxification Treatment for Detoxification I 20 Foot Pads are currently at the price of £12.74 (with an extra 15% off voucher) including next day quick delivery and 30 day free returns if anything goes wrong with the product.I saw those pads I think over a year ago now and was interested to try them to see if they are any good, as according to Chinese medicine a lot of health issues can be stored through massaging your feet in particular spots. Anyway, I thought those footpads could have some beneficial effect on your health as well, but I have seen lots of options saying that the colour of the pads will be the same regardless of your health conditions and that it is one big hoax.I wanted to try it regardless as after all it is not like it can hurt me - or at least I hope so.It is recommended to wear the pads over the night as during the day they can be a bit uncomfortable and because you live it can make the pads move as well, but I kept forgetting to put them before the bed so ended up wearing them during the day as I work from home in front of the computer so I don’t move a lot anyway. After a whole day of wearing the pads, I took them off and yes some part of these pads was dark and slimy with a bit of smokey smell to them, which was a bit weird but I have not noticed any specific changes.Overall you can try it, but honestly, I am not sure if that works at all

Leaves softer skin on the soles of my feet...
This box of Foot Pads contains 20 Lavender pads so will give you 10 days of treatment. Each pad contains:• Chitosan• Vitamin C• Anions and plant Extract• Bamboo Vinegar• Tourmaline• Wood VinegarThey are cruelty free and are Dermatologically tested. Lavender is said to help with sleep, lower blood pressure, relieve stress and Rheumatic discomfort. You get application instructions and Ingredients on the box and sachets, even with pictures to help show you how to put on and use these foot pads, which I find always helpful. Once opened, the box contains 10 foiled sachet packets which contains two foot pads which really have a strong smell of Lavender. It was really easy to apply these patches to my feet as I just took of the plastic backing and placed a patch to the arch of my feet. They stuck well until I started to walk around and then they started to peel off. I put a pair of socks on, and they stayed in place. When I took the pads off, the pad part was black and had a bad odour to it and they were stiff. Make sure that you wash your feet afterwards due to the smell. The skin where the pad was is definitely softer and smoother, so it is making my skin more hydrated.I like these and I can feel the difference with the skin of my feet after only a couple of uses. They have a relaxing smell of lavender when first applied and are extremely easy to use…

Horrible things
I did not these, they stick to the sole of your foot and you leave them there overnight. Both of mine came of through the night and my feet had a reaction to them. So personally I think they are a waste of money, they are uncomfortable and fell off (no I don't like wearing socks in bed not even in winter) I suppose its a personal thing but these are not for me. A very expensive waste.

Not sure about these
I'm not convinced by these. You get 10 packets with 2 pads in each pack. On opening them i don't think they smelled particularly strongly of lavender. I'm not sure what I'd say they smelled like. It wasn't unpleasant but I didn't like it either. They attach well. I wore them to bed and they stayed in place all night. I found them quite unpleasant to wear. I had a pulling sensation on my feet - I don't know whether this is because I was expecting them to be drawing out moisture or toxins. The next day, the pads were really hard and completely stiff. I found the sensation pretty unpleasant and woke up several times in the night with it. The following day I've found my feet feel quite uncomfortable - as though I'm standing on something. So overall I think its fair to say I'm not really very impressed with these.

Don’t believe the hype….they’re just face masks for your feet
Thought I’d give these a try as I honestly don’t buy into all this fuss about foot patches pulling out loads of toxins.Well they’re interesting to wear. I get hot enough at night without socks on so I decide to put them on under my socks while I pottered at home during the day rather than have socks on while I sleep. They stuck very well to my feet and didn’t move all day. They were squidgy but not uncomfortable and didn’t make my feet hot or cold. When I came to take them off though, part of the patch against my foot had gone hard, the rest was just liquid black stuff. Before you put them on you can see that they have some kind of black stuff in them, so of course once you’ve used them they will be oozing black stuff!I couldn’t detect any smell of lavender however they didn’t smell bad, even after use…all I could smell when I took them off was what smelled like charcoal.I don’t for a second think they drew any toxins out, however my feet did feel quite refreshed afterwards…so I think if anything they’re a bit like a face mask for your feet.I didn’t notice any improvement in my sleep and I didn’t feel like I’d had any toxins pulled out of my system. It says you can put them anywhere on your body you’d like, like elbow, neck and arms arms etc so I might try a different place next time and see how that works.I just don’t believe the hype about these things but they’re not priced too high £14.99 for 20 (75p each) for what is just a face mask for your feet.

I'm pretty sure it's not toxins
One of the main ingredients is vinegar. Anytime you mix vinegar with anything you're going to get amazing but mostly gross results, Vinegar/baking soda. Vinegar and pennies or any kind of metal. So attaching one of these patches which has a pocket FILLED with some vinegar and miscellaneous ingredients then attach it to your foot for six to ten hours you could get any color of the rainbow. But stating that the black foamy content is toxins (rather than an innocuous chemical interaction seems kind of misleading. About as misleading as the photos on the item page illustrating the pads size able to cover nearly the entire foot when in actuality these pads barely cover up the center of you feet. The adhesive is minimal to the point of useless. never seems to want to stick and stay but when you do get it to stick and you leave it on for the allotted time removing it can be severely painful and it will take a layer of your skin with it. I don't have thick skin and its super sensitive to anything, I'm sure that's some sort of disorder and I don't know how common it is but if you don't take off the pad slowly and incrementally, you will feel it.As for sleeping better, I may have missed that suggestion in the instructions. If anything I felt like I had a Vinegar surprise six to ten hours later. I had the same results everyone else did when they put lavender scented vinegar on the feet. I just did not have the same reaction. I believe it's different for everyone. You decide.

Yo no he notado nada...

Smells of a light hint of lavender. Worth a try if you aren’t allergic to the ingredients.
The Premium Foot Pads by Summer Foot with Lavender Oil are advertised to produce better sleep. I have insomnia and so far have yet to find help. I can’t say these helped with my insomnia either. For those without sleep issues, who want a more peaceful sleep, you’ll have to give it a go and find out exactly how they work for you. They are very easy to use. The adhesive is built into the pad. They arrive in individually sealed foil packs within a box. Two patches per foil pack. Ten foil packs per box. So you are getting ten uses out of each box for both feet.To use, unwrap one set of two pads from one foil pack, remove the paper backing from the adhesive and apply to the bottom center of clean, dry feet. Directions suggest wearing socks, as do I. The adhesive didn’t stick throughout the whole night but my socks held them in place perfectly. When unpackaging, you’ll notice a dark colored patch in the center of the pad. It has a light lavender scent which is very nice. Not too perfumey. When removing them in the morning, the patch is gooey, and blotchy black, and your feet are sticky. The pad smells kind of smokey likes it been heated up over a warmer. Technically, it was on your feet getting warmed. Directions advise to wash the feet immediately after use. I do too because the sticky is really very gross and any chemicals lingering should be washed away. The idea is you are washing away the toxins that were pulled to the surface overnight. The inside center of the patch (area that goes against the flesh) has a very tight weave. The exterior of the pad has a more open weave in which you can see and better smell the inner products. It doesn’t contain herbs in whole. The pad is actually infused with extracts (in order of appearance in ingredient list) of wood vinegar, bamboo vinegar, chitlin, chitosan, tourmaline (a crystal), vitamin C, agaricus blazei murill (an extract of a medicinal brazilian mushroom), lavender, and dextrin. These ingredients are all purported to have tremendous health benefit. I encourage you to look them up! However, using them transdermally (on the skin) is not scientifically proven to be effective. FDA blah blah blah… you know the drill. The blackness you see in the pads happens as a result of moisture absorption. They will produce the same effect when held over steam. Unfortunately, there’s also no evidence to support the efficacy of detox foot pads for treating medical problems or detoxifying the body. That said, there’s also not been enough studies conducted for a solid answer one way or the other. They are generally considered harmless for most people as long as you don’t have allergies to the ingredients. So, if you feel like giving them a try because you feel they will prove helpful, or because they make you feel like you are pampering yourself, give it a go. I certainly did. There’s no harm in trying if you aren’t allergic. Added bonus if you do feel they benefit you.
