This was very easy to put together unlike a lot of furniture. We use it in our RV as an end table and crate for 2 chihuahuas. Its actually much bigger than I thought but gives them a lot of room. Its nice looking, just about matches our floor and walls. I love the sliding door, it doesn't take up room by being open so they can come and go as they want. It seems sturdy enough. They aren't the type of dogs to try to chew or claw their way out so I don't know how it would be for anxious dogs or puppies. Overall very happy with it. The little hooks on it are great for holding their leashes. I don't like the latch, its very hard to latch it shut, otherwise I would have given it a 5.

Gave this 4 stars only because the bed inside is not chew resistant. It doesn’t make sense to put a non chew resistant bed inside of a chew resistant crate. My little chewer tore through it pretty easily! Otherwise the crate is wonderful— no issues there!!

We ordered the smaller size to replace our standard metal crate, which I think was 36x24? It was fairly easy to assemble and felt sturdy when it was all together. It looks beautiful! However, I wasn’t a huge fan of the door. We rarely lock my dogs in the crate. It’s more their bed/safe spot. I ordered this because I loved the idea the door can stay open without taking up space. I wish you could lock the door in the open position but you can’t. The latch to actually close/lock doesn’t look sturdy for a very upset or determined dog trying to get out.I would have kept it but my dog hated it. She wouldn’t use it or go in for anything and she loves crates. She is 40lbs and when sitting she had to duck a little to see out and she didn’t like that. Plus it was tight for her and my little guy 20lbs to share, unlike their old crate.Unfortunately didn’t work for us but is a nice looking crate for a dog who would fit alone. I would say 25-30 lb max for the small size to have extra room.

Excellent product. We keep it downstairs in our family room and have had it for over 1 year. Our dog loves it and doesn’t make much noise when our dog moves around like the plastic cage crates. Well worth the price and looks beautiful and blends in well with our modern design.

This seemed like a great find! Until we assembled it. The back of this crate is flimsy composite board with 2 holes large enough for most dogs to chew through. Not sure why the design team decided to take a crate made of mostly mesh and thicker wooden board and add this easily chewable part. At this point, I’m waiting for our pup to demolish this part of the crate. What a massive oversight. UPDATE: Instead of chewing through the flimsy backboard, our pup chewed a hole above the rolling door within 4 months. After spending over $200 on it we are now looking for a replacement.

We’ve had this for several months and our dog has been unable to break out of it until recently. She chewed her way out while we were gone for an hour, there was a pop up thunderstorm that we did not anticipate. We’re so upset because we very much love the look of this crate and it’s the perfect size for her, she usually loves going in it. How do we purchase a door replacement?

Would give it 5 stars but the door is really hard to slide and very noisy. The slide wheels should be ball bearing. This product would be the best if the door slide mechanism were of the same quality as the rest of this dog crate.

I love the sliding door. It locks into place when closed and is sturdy. I love that it looks like a piece of furniture. I didn’t want a swinging door always left propped open.I assembled the crate by myself and it was fairly easy, well labeled and very sturdy. Lining up the back panel with the screw holes took a minute to manage but once I got it lined up it went in well.
