Been hunting down alot of indie stories and comics and came across this one. I instantly got a DBZ / Journey to the West vibe from the cover alone, which left me wanting to check it out.Definitely a fun read! For being only $10 you're getting a short, but fun-filled adventure.+If you like shōnen action manga then you'll fall for this one pretty quick, with it's quick-paced action and fun cast of characters.+ Very easy on the fan-service. (In other words, it doesn't distract at all from the story, with it being like 3-4 panels).+ Protag, main villain, and side-characters all have their own personalities and fighting styles that keep the story interesting, especially Pixiss at the end.+ Easy to follow. Being an American manga, the author went with the left-to-right reading style which is perfectly fine. Makes it easier for the kids to follow along.+ Cute character art, everything drawn really well- Very very minor gripes on some of the grammatical and punctuation errors made me go "wait, what?" a few times. - Also very minor, a few panels where a characters face art looked a bit goofily drawn.Why was there never a Vol.2 released? This was a wonderful start too what could've been a staple for American Manga 😫

I always enjoy finding an indie guys work. You can feel the love in this book from it's creator. I hope he makes another.
