George Brown Men's Fulton Chelsea Boot

This is a very high quality and classy pair of chelsea boots. A kind of shiny (not high shine) calfskin leather with a soft leather lining - extremely comfortable and looks sturdy. The stitching and crafting is impeccable and speaks highly of Italian shoe making. Yes, its made in Italy. The elastic panels give the perfect amount of stretch to slip your foot in and out while gripping the ankle of the foot perfectly while walking. The leather sole and rubber grips look of high quality, strong and I'm sure these boots will last for years!Sizing - I went half a size down from my usual shoe size of 11 and it fits perfectly. George Brown say their shoes run true to size but I went with my personal experience that Italian made shoes and sneakers almost usually run half a size large so its better to size down. So the 10.5 is perfect for my 11.2" long and 4.4" wide feet. Please note that style of the boot makes it a little long in the toe area but as long as your ankle and the ball of the foot sits well and the heel doesn't completely move from its place, the size if right for you.The only minor negative - the colour is a rich chocolate brown and it is so rich that in certain low light conditions, it almost looks like a black version of the same shoe which is also available on their website.
