I always loved the filberts (or hazelnuts) in a container of mixed nuts. The containers never had enough of the filberts for me. With this purchase I can now have a snack of just filberts or I can add enough of them to my mixed nuts to satisfy me. I am not a cook but I know that cooks would be extremely happy to have this two pound container to add to their cookies etc. The bag that the filberts came in can be resealed easily to keep the balance fresh. The price is right and the delivery was right on time. These nuts are my favorite and I recommend to all who appreciate them to try them. You'll like them.

I have had these before, and they were good. This time they taste stale and "off". Both times I have tried them, I got abdominal pains. When I try to return them the Amazon web site does not offer that option, but instead refers me to the Oh! Nuts web site. The Oh! Nuts web site will only take my complaint if I register with them. Never again.

I was looking for a large quantity of selected nuts. No peanuts and no almonds that you normally get in a package of mixed nuts. The brazil nuts, hazelnuts, and cashews seem very fresh and have an excellent taste. I will order again!

This is the second bag I have bought and they are my new favorite. I'm kind of picky with nuts. I only like roasted salted filberts and pecans. These are awesome!!

While these Hazelnuts are good, they aren't quite the same as the ones you find scattered among a Planter's Deluxe mix. These are crinchier, more like dry-roasted, while the Planter's are more oily and a bit softer. The salt on these seems to stick more to the skins of the nut, so ones that have no skin aren't as salty, while ones with skin (whole or partially covered) are more salty, leading to an inconsistent taste between nuts in the same bag. Finally, these taste a bit more acidic -- not in a bad way, just different than what I was expecting.These were priced as well as I could find for salted hazelnuts or filberts on Amazon. They are good, and it is a lot of nuts, but I was expecting more of the Planter's taste and texture, so I probably won't purchase these again. Not because there is anything wrong with them -- rather because I prefer something different.

Every nut in this large package was stale. I even roasted them again but it did not help! What a waste of money!

I haven't had or seen Hazelnuts in a long time so I thought I would give these a try. My order came in a plain green bag with very little in the way of labelling (see pics). The front window looked full of nut dust (a technical term I just now made up that means salt and nut skin residue), but I think that is to be expected. There was no nutritional information on the bag (is that legal?) and, more importantly, nothing to indicate where the nuts were from or where they were packed. Just an origin statement about the company Oh Nuts, and their Promise. And, oh yeah, the print is not very legible at that.Taste? A mixed bag (sorry). In spite of the "use by" label, some were stale and some were just right. Heads up though, Hazelnuts have a taste all their own and may not be appetizing to all your buds and their tastebuds. Maybe better to find a little bag somewhere and have a taste-test before taking on this here two pounder! I'm going to run my bag through a colander to get some of the excess nut dust out/off.
