SpeedoWomen's Star Mania Flyback Swimsuit

I bought this swim suit for my 8yr old who is relatively tall and slender. She wears a 28 (in Speedo and Arena swimwear) which has a little room but only the 30 was available. I ordered it thinking that she could grow into it by summer practices. Unfortunately, this swimsuit ran so small that she could not get it over her bottom. I put it against her Speedo size 28 suit that we bought last month and this suit length wise way very long but width wise was more like a size 24...and had no give. If you buy this suit you will need to go at least 3 sizes bigger to compare to your current size given our experience.

I wanted this suit to be somewhat tight, as I wanted to use it for racing, but I feel like it is a little bit smaller than my other racing suits of the same size. Could just be that I have worn those a few times and this one is brand new. Otherwise, this is a really cute suit. It is sparkly and I love the colors. Next time I would order a size up though because even on my short torso, this suit keeps wanting to ride up!

This is a training swimsuit, as such it is meant to fit tightly. Unfortunately, I followed other reviewers suggestions and ordered 1 size up. I wish I hadn't. FYI, When wearing the suit, if you pull up on the top of the straps and it reaches past the middle of your ear, it is too big. The quality is excellent. This is definitely made for swim training (I.e. Competition swimming) so expect it to fit so tightly that you'd think it was painted on.

At 5'9" certain suit manufacturers run too short for me. Speedo works, but I am a 36 not my usual 34. My biggest problem is that the lining gaps out of the bottom and at the sides- as if it's too big for the suit. This started happening the first time I wore it so it's not a matter of stretching out. Still, it has lasted and is a good over all suit for lap swimming.

I bought the purple suit and the pattern is really pretty. The stars are shiny and pop against the striped pattern. Fully lined in black with a purple seam... You could definitely wear it reversed if you wanted to. Tight fit, but great for lap swimming or competition.

Smooth material that is pleasing to the touch and the colors are very nice as shown.Beware though, the material is 51% PBT, which gives it much less stretch than the material of most other swimsuits, as other reviewers have found. It also runs a size small, and I'm sure it will feel even smaller to women with larger busts due to the low stretch.

I liked it. I used it over 7 month more than 3 times per week and it still in good shape. If you have wide hips likely to have problems with placing, buy a bigger size.

This suit was exactly what I was looking for. Fits true to size and so far has held up to me swimming in it 7 times per week.
